Hotel Hamilton is located at Madero 381
THE GOOD
This hotel has several street girls that hang out at the front door starting around 11pm. Night after night I saw the same girls. For a legitimate night of sleep the hotel costs around $150 pesos ($15 USD). Management is friendly and girls are allowed into the rooms. No English is spoken here.
THE BAD
Upon first arriving in Guadalajara I went to this place for a look. I went to room #6 and viewed a filthy tiny room with a bed that had seen better days. The bathroom had no shower curtain. In general I got the chills about spending a night here.
THE DISGUSTING (or funny!!!)
One night I walked past Hotel Hamilton and decided to take a girl up to the room. We went to room #1 and I had pretty good service with Claudia for about 1 hour. Cost was 300 pesos ($30 USD) for her and 50 pesos for the room. When we were done Claudia remade the bed, re-hung the towel and made the room look like it had not been touched.
Lesson: Do not trust that nobody has fucked on your sheets...and stay away from those first floor rooms!

I must disagree. i am a back packing type, so i do end up most the time in hotels such as this. one bed rooms are 120 pesos. the first floor is reserved mostly for mongering purposes. however, i do believe that this hotel is also used for a meeting point for lovers who are cheating and the like. i see back packer types all the time here, and i do see the SGs. if you are single and just want a bed, and a shower with warm water, with a good location, this is the place.

I assume a place like this doesnt need advance reservations?

No reservations needed. There are also several other lower priced hotels within a couple blocks so you will find a room in the area.

In response to the above posting, I did not see any SG's loitering around the lobby of this hotel. The female receptionist allowed me to see one of the rooms. Dark, cramped and depressing. Didn't stay there, but the receptionist did tell me they are "guest friendly." Both Hotels, Hotel Hamilton and Hotel Sevilla are quite literally one block from each other, on the next street over which runs parallel to Prisciliano Sanchez (assuming it is north and south) between Calle Ocampo, Zona 1, Centro.
