Would the next person that goes to Nogales please report on what the current stripclub situation is. Is the closing short-term or long-term.

That would probably be me, as I'm planning to head down tomorrow.

I have always had good luck with La Conga, Potros, and Tecolote as an alternative. There are tons of semi-pro girls around town.

Just got back from Nogi. All the TD club are open. I talked to Jesse's brother and the owner's son of Cherry's sports bar. Here is what I learned: Last Saturday all the TD clubs where fined for allowing sex inside the clubs, all where closed down until they paid the fine. All the fines were paid and everyone was open tuesday. But there is no sex in the clubs. No privates even. La Conga is closed. That's all I could find out. Every street pimp I talked to said many girls working, privates in all the clubs, it's all lies. I did see 2 girls hustling in front of Rios. I wouldn't of been surprised to find out they were cops. I went into Obsessions around 6:30, there were no girls working.

Somewhere on a yahoo chat room about Mexico border towns there is an explaination of why this is going on. It's something about one the girls and her kid. I don't care to investigate further, but I've heard it's all there for those of you that have to know.

I remember a few years ago these fines happened also. Things were slow for a few weeks and then picked up again. I thought then it was because of the election or something, this time it the "social services" or whatever they are called in mexico. I think whatever happens, Nogi is going to be really slow for a few weeks.

Well, as planned I headed down to Nogales Sat night. As bluelight stated, all the clubs are open. My first stop was Rio's.

Rio's has been pretty dead for quite some time now, and Sat night was no exception. From what I could see, they had about half a dozen girls working, and not much to write home about. I had one beer, but didn't bother to hang around long enough to talk to anyone about what's going on there. Next stop...

Lipstick - Tecate, por favor. Don't ask me why I like this place, 'cause hell - I don't know. Here again, they had maybe half a dozen girls working - and most of them looked like they'd rather be elsewhere. I was told they're still doing the private room thing. Seems they didn't learn anything from the fine/closing, or they just don't give a rats' ass, and consider it the cost of doing business. They also had 3 federales hanging out in the place for a while, but they were just kicking back watching. They didn't stop the show or harass anyone (not even the club staff), and after a while they just moved on. I'm still trying to figure out why they feel a need to carry an M16 in a strip club. Placers - this place had a pretty good selection of women Sat night, and was pretty lively. They've put a pool table in the section to the back right of the club. I hung out and had a beer, and talked to a boletero about the recent events. Didn't get any explanation of what's going on, but I was told that they're still doing privados. I think he said it was $55 to the house and negotiate with the girl for whatever. Not sure if the privados were being done in the upstairs booths or in a "private room". Lord Black - There has been one significant effect of the new crackdown - something we hadn't really noted here before. It seems one of the things they were busted for was selling alcohol after hours. So closing time is now 3AM. And that time was getting close. I didn't see bunny shirt girl in the bar, so I asked Barney where the girl with the bunny shirt was. He looks about and heads off for the dressing room. A brief wait and here comes Naomi, who gladly plops herself in my lap. She agrees to head back to my hotel, so I call Barney over to see what kind of deal the club will do to let her leave. $110. It's 15 minutes till closing time, and they want $110! Are all Mexicans economically shit-brained? I flat out told him that it's 15 minutes until closing, and I can wait 15 minutes, and the bar will get nothing. Still the manager won't budge. Ok, be stupid and get nothing then. Naomi suggests I wait for her out front. I tell her I'll wait in front of Placers, rather than right in front of LB. That agreed, I head out and watch the local nightlife unfold - local with an open container in hand being stopped by the PD - released after they check him and his buddy out it seems, the police figure hey we're here, let's do a checkpoint for a few minutes, then traffic gets backed up and they get bored and leave, people coming to pick up the girls, girls getting out from various bars - there's a gal I recognize from Placers being picked up by some shaved-head biker looking American dude who'd been walking around. And about 3:15 here comes Paola. Back to my hotel for a little fun 'till the sun comes up, and then we sleep and snuggle until near midday. She's leaving today for Mexicali, and I'm headed back to Phoenix. And so it goes...

I went down once in the not too distant past, and enjoyed the hell out of myself at La Conga and Lord Blacks, so I figured I would at least try to check the scene out despite the crappy conditions.

I will be in town next month on business, and want to know if any one has bothered to check out the scene since the crackdown. I have been following the threads lately, and realize the situation isn't the greatest right now from a hobbying perspective. However, the question remains--is it worth checking out? Will probably hit all of the TDs and La Conga at various points duing my time in town, and will likely rent a room for at least one night if the scene looks half way decent.

Is it worth it or am I wasting my time and money?

Pendejo - all the clubs are open, and for sure Lord Black and Placers are doing some variant of privados. I straight up asked the ticket seller at Placers didn't they have some problems with the law? He just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders as if to say "So?" And several of the girls asked if I wanted sex or a blow job.

Thanks for the update. Any info on whether the crackdown is pushing market costs in our favor? I.e., are privados any cheaper than they have been? When I was at La Conga (different environment I know) the prices were $65, and when I did my run at LBs and Placers, privados were $22, w/fs running at about $60 or bj running at $40. Total cost per nut at the clubs was running anywhere from $60-$80 depending on the level of service.

Any updated pricing info would be very helpful.

Whats the latest on privado action in Nogieland? Will be in Tucson on Tuesday night 10/19 and dont know if its worth going down or not.

Was there Sunday and Monday of this week. Went to La Conga and had Paola after seeing who was working. Great time no pressure just a relaxed atmosphere. Not to many chicas working there. Then I wen to Lord Blacks. Very Quiet a few chicas working. The masesra Janet and I hit it off very well and went to the privado and she gives a fantastik BBBJ. But compared to TJ very expensive. Obsessions, Lord Black, & Placers all offered the $22.00 lap dance in the privado. But the upsale was always in force. I finally learned on the second night to negotiate at the table before going into the privado. They were upselling for a total of $120.00 to $160.00. I paid $100.00 at both Lord Blacks and Obsessions. At LaConga I paid $65.00 for full service in a room with a bed. Much closer toTJ prices. Still I think Nogalas is a cleaner town and easy to get around in. BUT there is something to be said for TJ.

at cherries you can wait until the bar closes, usually 7-8pm fri and sat nights..negociate with the dancer outside the bar.. i got a deal for $25 room at hotel andres and $60 for the dancer...
at fernis and rios, you can usually talk some of the dancers down to the $80-$100 range for sexo , 30 minutos in private room...
