I think this is a 2 star hotel. Rooms start at just 28 dollars for a single and thier triple room is only 50 dollars.
There double looks like an old Hotel Suite remember those? With 2 separate rooms for only 45!!
they also have nice frequent flyer program

This place sounds like they are very gringo friendly and want American business. I will hit this place on my next trip and speak with the manager about bringing "guests" back as well

$28 sounds like a good deal now that they've remodeled their rooms. I couldn't find any mention of rates on their website. Did you call them? Is that rate good for any day of the week?

Yes Reytj it is. the rates are located on thier site. I call and speak with someone a while ago and they were thrilled that I found there web site. They sound very enthused about geting gringo business.

I was looking at the spanish language site. Rates are under "instalaciones" in pesos at 10 to 1 exchange rate so best to pay in pesos.

Turns out the rate for a single remodeled room is 350 pesos but includes contintental beakfast. The 280 peso rooms are not described as remodeled but on the same page they say all their rooms were remodeled.

Even though they call it a hotel it's really more of a motel so I don't think you would have to parade your guests by the reception desk.
