This place is located about 1 block from Matehuala on the other side of the street as you walk towards Colon/the main bus station. Its' claim to fame is that you can get 20 peso table dances with a semi-naked girl grinding on your crotch for the full length of a song. It is a tremendous value if you can find a girl that turns you on, and there are a couple girls there that would be just about anyone's type, at a minimum a 7/10, possibly higher. A couple of the girls here wouldn't be out of place in any bar in MTY. Of course they're busy about 95% of the time, so it's not easy to get their attention or keep it once they do deign to give you a table dance. The GOOD news is, though, that their attitudes are as good as even the ugliest girls in the bar and mileage for your two bucks is pretty damned high.

The place is pretty no frills as far as decor/facilities (think cheap plastic chairs and tables), but in addition to the cheap lapdances, the beer is dirt cheap too, a mere 13 pesos for a 'media' and 22 pesos for a caguama (liter bottle).

The majority of girls here aren't in the least attractive, but the handful that ARE make it worth a stop inside for a beer just for the voyeuristic experience of watching some old dude pawing the shit out of them while they grind on his lap.

If you feel the urge to do something more intimate than have the girl grind on your lap in the middle of the bar, there is a privado area located around the corner from the exit where for the normal Centro fee of 50 pesos per 4 minutes you can have an actual private dance where most girls will offer full service for 200 pesos or less in addition to the privado costs.

While the facilities of this place make it seem quite sublime, if you can get over the scummy decor, there are several girls worth taking the plunge with, and this place delivers some pretty damned serious bang for the buck.

Went on a week-long whirlwind tour of the South Texas border region a couple weeks back, trying to get over my post-Asia depression, and my travels not surprisingly took me to Monterrey. Hadn't been there since Jan 2003.

I must admit, it seems like they are turning Monterrey more and more into a "sleaze pit." Table joints seem to be springing up everywhere. I guess you can't deter progress.

I only had time for a couple nights there. Followed my usual routine while in Monterrey. Hit Villagran Street big time my first night in town. Had a guy yell out my name on the street (not the first time this has happened in Monterrey). Of course it was an old Reynosa buddy who had returned to his "tierra natal" after the boystown in Reynosa has closed up about four of the main clubs on the strip--Old Lipstick, El Baston, Elva's and Gold Palace. The Reynosa BT is in a serious state of decline. It's been down before however.

The one place I had to see was "El Tarro." It was, as advertised. I enjoyed it immensely and there were some definitely grabassable girls in there. Three or four were 8 plusses in my book. It was interesting, as Porker said, to watch the old guys pawing all over them.

There is a guy constanly circulating, selling $20 peso dance tickets in hand. It was funny watching the faces of the guys with tickets get real pissed off everytime the hottest chick in the place, and she was hot, go to different customers, who also had $20 peso dance tickets.

Those old borrachos who were lucky enough to get her attention had her working like a government mule.
