A buddy just returned from a weekend down south. Says the new Govenor has them closing down at 2 AM now (the places that serve alcohol). This is not good news. Maybe it will pass with time.

I was there last weekend. They start getting the people out at around 1:30am. A lady there told me that it just started Friday night. It is because of President Fox.

I visited Nuevo Laredo this past Memorial Day weekend and talked to the girls in Boystown about this. Apparently, the 2am closing only applies to the bars in downtown. The bars in boystown are exempt and stay open until the early hours of the morning. I never stayed later than 1pm, by then I am exhausted and spent. So party as long as you want.
