Update on prices, hours, etc.
Cherries has raised the price on Lap Dances to $8.00 and eliminated the discount tickets during the daytime. VIP rates have gone up as well, I think to $24, but I did not buy one.
Cherries has raised the price on beer to $2.50.
Cherries dancers are doing fewer and fewer stage dances, with gaps of up to eight songs between dancers (and no, they weren't all in the back room).
Lord Black will be opening at 3 in the afternoon this weekend to celebrate St. Partick's day.
Ferni's was down to three dancers but had half a dozen hostesses. The dancers looked pretty good.

This is a three-story courtyard-type hotel in the tourist district, about a block and a half southwest of Olivia.
Lipstick's has a couple of new exotic dancers.
Plenty of street action after 9 p.m. on Ave Obregon -- if you have a car and speak 90 MPH Spanish.
Get there at 2 p.m. and hang out on the tourist side of the tracks if you want to see a long of underdressed pasty-white Gringettes, walking 50 feet behind their parents, so as not to be seen with them. It is considered bad form to bring binoculars .

diabetic, what are u talking about ..pasty white gringettes......So is it safe to say that all the clubs are charging $8 for table dance and $20-$24 for a private room dance....damn...I remember just a few years ago it was $5 for table (for about 2 songs minimum) and $15 private (for about 10 minutes) at all the clubs..cherries, fernis, and lipstick....and obsession...

This is really getting wacko!
First, utilities going through the roof.
Second, gas this summer predicted to hit over $2.00 a gallon.
Now, Freaking VIP dances going to $25.00!
Y2K was not a mere scare, IT'S FOR REAL!!!!

horndog.....
C'mon man, visualize...all those young teens from Minnesota, and Wisconsin, and Illinois, coming to dangerous old Mexico to shop for some old world treasures...slowly turing pink from the sun...why it was better than the Tucson mall on a Saturday afternoon.....
Not sure if the price increase was in anticipation of St. paddy's day or not. Only checked the prices at Cherries (which still has the old prices painted on the walls).
I can't wait till the temperature reaches 119 -- then we'll see what they are charging.

I was thinking of creating a Nogales mongering street guide in Visio. Is there any interest, and will our most gracious host put it up onteh board if I create it?

Diabetic,
Can you elaborate more on the street girl action on ave obregon after 9pm. Where is this street from the border and do you know any prices or hotels to take them to?

Sorry I don't have much information. Ave. Obregon is one of the main North/south streets that cut through the area with the most tourist shops. (Turn right after going through the border, it is about three streets west.)
It is a hot/cold kind of thing. some nights there are dozens of girls out -- mostly working the auto traffic and ignoring the pedestrians, so it might be a car sex kind of thing. Other nights threre are clumps of three to five girls in the block around the Hotel Olivia. sometimes they are working the auto traffic, sometimes they will make eye contact with the foot traffic. I've seen nights when there were 8-10 girls around the empty donkey cart where the bank used to be (sort of behind the "tourist alley".
My spanish isn't good enough to negotiate prices so I've never participated. I often get burned out from the noise and the smoke in the clubs, and take a long walk to clear my head -- thus the observations.
I'll bring a spanish-speaking friend sometime and let him do some negotiating.

If you can, could you list any massage parlors in Nogales? I have looked everywhere, but no dice.
Not even anything posted here.....ever.

Elfman:
There is no place south of the nogales border where one can get a "Steam and Creme".
In Nogales, AZ there is one place, which has received mixed reviews. US pricing applies, though, and if you squint, the Koreans there look Mexican
