If your looking for just a place to "crash," so to speak, and if you're not too picky, might I suggest a little motel-type of camp ground where trailers are the ideal accomodation.

This little trailer-motel is located on Mar Baltico, No. 186, which is right next door to the Motel Don Jesus. La Posada de Don Jesus charges $20 per night. Trailers are clean, with clean beds. There's no television, but hey, that's why you only pay $20, right?

It's also air-conditioned, with a heater, depending on what time of year you visit San Felipe. It's safe and quiet, only a couple of blocks walking distance from the beach.

Holy inflation!!! This place charged only $14 when I stayed there in 2003. Also, I dont know how much it has changed, but the old man was very explicit about not bringing any putas back to his trailer park.

I don't know if the old man is still around, but when I stayed there, which was about four separate times, it was managed by a very cute girl with a pretty smile. I think she had a novio/husband who came home from work late at night.

When I brought back a puta to my trailer, we crept back so quietly nobody could hear us.
