I will be in Phonex in June and trying to decide if it is worth my time to make the drive to Nogales.

1) what time on Saturday do things open and close?
2) Are the girls there these days worth it?
3)If it is worth my time How Much $ do need to talk with me? Any estimates would be great

I believe several of the bars now open about 2 in the afternoon.

As for "worth it" - that's a completely subjective opinion. Money has a different value to everyone on this site. So without knowing you I can't say if it's "worth it" to you.

What I can tell you is that decent quality chicas will probably want $100 for the first hour. You can probably negotiate 2 hours for $150, or maybe 3+ for $200-250. If you want to take a girl from a bar, the Nogales bar fines are steep - typically $100+.

If your idea of value is getting a street gal looking for cash for her next crack high, there are gals who will do a quickie for $20-$40, but you'd have to know where to look, or who to talk to.

It all depends on how much cash you have and what you're looking for.

As for me, I always stay the night when I go to Nogi. I'm a night monger, and I like to have a few beers. Getting a hotel room gives me a place to take a gal, and allows me to rest and sober up before the 3 hour drive back.

Let me turn it around and ask how much are you comfortable spending, and what do you want (a quickie, an hour or two in a hotel, an all-nighter)? Do you want to hang out in the titty bars and drink? Get lap dances?

I'll probably venture down there sometime during June. Let me know if you want a trip buddy.

PS - How's your Spanish? You'll be surprised how *few* people speak English a stone's throw from the border, although all the bars will have somebody around who knows enough English to get by.

No need to worry about that. Just park your car on the US side and walk toward the neon. The moment you cross the line you'll have half a dozen guys wanting to walk you to whichever strip club is paying them a buck to bring in customers. They'll walk you there to get their payola. And with or without them the area around the clubs is pretty safe anyhow.
