While I have been killing time waiting for my next trip to Thailand, I have only been making it down to Nogales every other month or so. I have recently, for the second time now, been exposed to a portion of the inside life of these girls.

The major difference between this time and the last time is that I can actually TALK and carry on a conversation with this girl. She probably speaks better English than I do. The previous girl only spoke Spanish and communication with her was extremely difficult with my 250-word Spanish vocabulary.

I only have a few brief notes, but I hope you find the information valuable.

So how much do these girls in Nogales make?

According to the girl I know average is $2000-$3000 US per month with top lookers or earners anywhere between $5000-$7000 US per month. Obviously a lot of other factors can affect this as well. She told me a good month for her is $5000 but that all depends.

Obviously this is a lot less than what the top lookers in TJ make or can make. But the top lookers in Nogales are also not fucking 10-20 guys a night. The girls do not necessarily have sex every time they go upstairs for a privado. In TJ, if you see a girl go upstairs you KNOW what she will be doing.

How much out of those $10 ficha drinks goes to the girls?

I can't quite remember the answer to this one. But I think they get very little considering the price and contents of the drinks. I want to say she told me they only see about $2.00 out of those drinks. But I am not completely sure.

How much of the $9.00 table and $22.00 private dances do they get?

Again, my apologies. I don't remember the exact answer but I want to say they split that money evenly with the house. Always remember that when discussing prices for sex. Especially if you buy two dances. They get $22.00 PLUS the $40.00 - $60.00 you are paying them to fuck you in a closet for 12 minutes. Try to use this to your advantage. Dos privados y cuarenta dolares? (I told you my Spanish was bad. Ask Dart!) The boleteros at Placer's and Lord Black are authorized to give you 2 for 1 privados at their discretion. Tip them, befriend them, whatever. You can save money in the long run.

How much do the boleteros (ticket sellers) make?

I have been told time and time again by the boleteros how they only make tips and tips alone. (Implying tips from customers) I am still unsure if they make a base salary or not. But something I have suspected for a long time is indeed true. The boleteros are tipped out by the dancers each night. If a dancer stiffs a boletero he will not recommend her to customers and she won't make any money. So a symbiotic relationship is formed between the good tipping dancers and the boleteros. Dancers will tip based on what they make that night. The range I heard was $5.00 - $20.00 US. This means that you should also take boletero recommendations with a grain of salt. The chica the boletero raves about may be a great tipper to him, but a lousy experience. I always recommend test driving the girls with a table dance to see how about her attitude.

Can that expensive barfine be reduced at all?

Yes. In most cases it can. On two separate occasions just recently I have gotten the bar fine reduced to $60 and $70 respectively from the original quoted price of $100. The boletero cannot ok this price reduction by himself (I don't believe), and will ask the manager. Offer $15-$20 below what you are actually willing to pay and you may get your price. They may even laugh at that offer, but who cares? If it is later in the evening but you need to get your girl out of there, be sure to mention this fact warrants a drop in price as well.

That's pretty much in line with what I have heard.

Girls = ficha drink ($10.00) gets them $5.00, table dance ($9.00) gets them $5.00, vip ($22.00) gets them $10.00, tips are theirs but they tip the ticket sellers, waiters and d.j. at the end of the day.

Waiters/waitresses get no salary, survive on tips and ficha/vip commissions and tips thereof.

Ticket sellers get $0.50 of each ticket they sell plus tips. No salary.

Bartender, d.j. and security are only employees drawing a fixed salary.

The "tipping out" at the end of the night is the exact same way clubs operate here in the US. You'd probably be surprised at how little cash many topless dancers typically go home with - between the house fee (they have to pay to work at the club), tipping the bartenders, the door guys and the DJ. I know this because I've lived (platonically) with a dancer for years.

And I have no idea how accurate those income figures are, but they sound pretty high to me. I've hung out in Placers on a Sat night and watched many of the girls do no privados for several hours. On the other end of the spectrum there's the looker who's constantly being taken upstairs, and no doubt is making bank. Also keep in mind that these girls tend to work when they need to - they don't have to put in 5 8-hour days like the average working schmo. Many dancers here in the US only work 4 days a week, for 4 to 5 hours a shift. Time is money, and they could make more if they worked more, but unless they're motivated (hah!), greedy, or just need the cash, most don't.

Well, if you spend a couple hours at e.g. Placers and keep an eye on a particular girl, you can see how often they go arriba, and extrapolate that to a 6 hour shift. This last Friday was DEAD, so most girls didn't even go up once in two hours. For sure, during the summer, they don't make 1/2 of what they'd ususally make. I do my best to prop up the economy with lapdances, however. I think there is a bus stop on Obregon named after me now...

I doubt even Baby makes $5K a month. I've only heard of 1 girl(Monersat on Saturday night) ever turning down a $200 all night deal. So lets figure $200 a night is a great night.
