Anyone ever try a Nextel Push to Talk cell phone in Nogales? I know it works right at the border, looking for the range from the border? I'm guessing that it will work for a few miles. Anyone know?

I use my Nextel phone in Nogales and TJ all the time,never a problem. I have not tested the exact range but it has worked a mile from the border. Nextel has got the international thing down but as for regular local or domestic calls they suck as I drop alot of calls all the time.

41cents a minute vs $35 a month for Mexico to US calls. Sure would like to find a 25c a min calling card, mexico to US.
