There's a lot of talk in the TJ section about favoritas, overnights, novias, and "free" sex... I'm curious if any of you guys have had experiences like this in BT?

As for me--I had one (paid) overnight a few months ago with a chica from Martha's Club that I've got a nice relationship with--I'm very happy to see her, and she seems very happy to see me, but that's as far as it goes (fine by me).

I also had a chica at Tamyko's I saw a bunch of times, but I quit after a time when she demanded gifts (I'd brought her some anyway) and then, after I'd seen her, I found myself kind of dreading looking into Tamyko's and seeing her with someone else. I realized I was starting to feel too invested... (As Rx, I went to Papagayo's and within 20 minutes met a *fabulous* new chica...just hope she won't disappear!)

But anyway, I'm wondering if a lot of y'all have formed actual novios relationships in BT? Or if there's something about the set-up at BT that's less conducive to that than the set-up in TJ. (Few girls get off work at nightfall; no big US urban area nearby, whatever...)

Comments, anecdotes, and stories will be very much appreciated!!

I have done both but many, many years ago. I fall deeply, madly, passionately in love every second trip down there . I have been going to the clubs in NL for about 42 years. I have been lurking on this board for a year or more but have not chosen to post before. I still go about once every two months or so, more often recently. I have had some of the worst experiences of my life there and some of the very best. I have had relationships with girls on three ocassions that got a little too heavy. On two ocassions the girls ended up marrying (not me) and moving to the States. In neither of these cases did it work out and within six months they were back. I was recently seeing one girl regularly at Marabu but last time I went she had been set up by someone from this side in a house in NL and was no longer available. Be very careful. The girls there all have doctorates in behavior manipulation otherwise they would not be successful.

There is surely someone else out there my age who remembers before the Zone was moved out to where it is now. Right after you crossed the border you had the Gato Negro, 1-2-3, Gildas, the street independents and others I am not thinking of now.
Papagayos, Marabu, Miramar and Diamante Azul were the classier places and they were scattered out on what was then the edge of town. I think it was about 1963 or 64 that everything was moved to the walled compound where it is today.

Sorry for the long post but I have a thousand stories. If I could be absolutely certain of anonymity I might write a book.

Bigred, 42 years, wow, you're the man. Never knew the history of the compound, but I think Sr. Sanchez at Marabu said the club was almost 40 years old (place has great style).

Rookie, having a cell phone number brings up an issue--or at least I *think* it's an issue--namely, how do you call a Mexican cell number from the US? There's a lot on that topic in the Tijuana section. Basically, the Mexican customer pays for incoming calls except if "044" is dialed up front; then, the caller pays. Most girls in NL (and TJ) will give you the number with 044. Problem is that if you're calling from the US, 044 doesn't work, and there's no other way to reverse the charges; and therefore you generally can't get through. So, unfortunately, it seems like you can only call when you're calling from a Mexican pay phone (for which you should use one of the LadaTel cards you can get easily at any streetside newsstand). But hey I may be missing something so if there's a way to call from here, somebody please post; I've got a real sweetie pie I really want to call before I go down again.

Basically the same rules apply for calling NL as TJ.

If the girl gives you a cell phone number then you can ignore the 044 part then dial 011-52-87 and then last 6 digits of the number that the girl gave.

Another thing that might be a bit confusing is that due to grow within NL, it is currently necessary to dial 7 + the last 6 digits while calling locally in Nuevo Laredo; but this does not apply if you are calling from the US.

But I remember getting the impression from the TJ board that if you do this, she has to pay a hefty charge, maybe even an international charge. Do you know the story on that?

I was able to get through to her twice already although when we speak her phone cuts off kind of quick. She says she ran out of minutes and the store ran out of phone cards so I couldn't get through for a few days. ANYWAYS, I dial 011-52-87 and then the last 6 digits like YoungTom suggested. I know I'm paying for a long distance call but I don't know if she is paying more because I'm calling from the U.S.
I'll ask her next time we talk and get you the info. And I did get a Lada Card to call her when I was there. BTW, what's the girl's name you are talking to? Just in case......its the same girl, I guess its possible.

I think when you call a cell phone from the states that the person that has the cell phone ends up paying a charge. But I don't think that there is anyway to avoid it. Maybe give the girl a little extra money the next time you see her?

There are apparantly several different ways the cell phones work in Mexico. Much more variety in plans than we have here. I have called customer assistance and have not gotten as much help as you guys seem to know. Do be aware that there is an international code and then an area code like we have. If you are in the same area code you do not have to dial the area code. It gets really complex if you have your U.S. cell phone in Mexico and are trying to call a Mexico number.

I am a little sorry about my previous statements about the girls all being manipulative. All of them are human beings and most are as honest or more honest than the typical "civilian" female one would find in a bar on this side. Many years ago I took a female friend over for a few drinks. She waited while I made a visit to a room with a "closer friend." While I was busy she visited with several of the girls. On the trip back to the U.S. she was in a state of shock as she told me that "those girls were just like other people", not at all what she had been led to believe.

For many of them the alternative lifestyle to what they are doing is not at all pleasant. Also many of them are high educated.

How come the retraction? You sound like someone at a press conference. I think you may have been more right the first time. I don't blame the girls, but I know they are trying to make money and sometimes that means rubbing people the right way to get them to do what they want. Maybe not all of them but I am sure some of them practice in the art of deception.

I need to go to NL. What does it take to get across the border and back again? Is it cool to stay at a hotel on the Mexico side? Can you hire a girl to stay with you for the weekend?

I'm guessing from your post this is your first trip to the Nuevo Laredo Boystown. If it is, you are trying to take on alot for your first time. Most of this info is in this section, but I will try to answer your questions. It is 4 1/2 miles to BT from the border. A cab will cost you $10 out and $10 back. There are plenty of good motels to stay in Mexico, just make sure you are comfortable doing this if it is your first time there. I have my own place to stay while I'm there, but the motel my buds stay in that go with me is called "Villa Real". If the cab driver takes the usual route to BT you will pass it on the right on the way there. It has a nice swimming pool, clean rooms, a decent little eatry, and a walled entrance with enclosed parking if you ever decide to drive in. The room should be about $35 plus key deposit. Also across the street and a block or so back toward the border is a nice restuarant called "Platos". It is very good. Other motels are listed elsewhere in this site.

Nearly all the girls will do all nighters, but you need to be sharp at negoiation here. They will qoute $200-300 for the service. Friday and Saturday night $150-200 is probably the best you can do. During the week,$100-150. But there are lots of variables: the time of night when you ask, how buiness is that night (and maybe even the few nights before), the vibe they get from you, and of course the lady herself (top, middle, or bottom tier).

BT is not as dangerous as some of the other places on discuused on this board, but never forget where you are. Stay alert and always let others see that you are alert. Count your change even though the meseros in the major three clubs are pretty honest. The clubs being Papgayos, Tamyko, and Marabu (this one being hit and miss). And remember the a-teams at these places normally don't arrive until after dark, the main exception being the infamous Ruth at Tamykos. Not a bad looking lady, a body beginning to slip just a little, but sessions that books could be written about. Be careful in the smaller places, you may not know what you are talking to.

Sorry for the delay, been away from the computer for a few days. Giving advice about certain girls is hit and miss. What I get you may not, what you get I may not. Letting a girl know exactly what you want is always a good idea. Many of the girls in BT speak at least some English, you should be able to get your point across. Also many of the girls just don't give girlfriend sessions for anyone, so be ready to keep looking. If you find one who agrees, ask for a little taste at your table. If she goes for it and you like it, let her know that's what you want in the room. Good vibes normally mean good sessions and vice a versa.
I have an idea your first trip will be a little overwhelming. Just ask for what you seek, and if you don't find it the first time or two, keep trying. Try really hard to retain everything going on around you while you are there, because I can guarentee later it will all seem like a blur. Correct me if I'm wrong, but based on my experience in the last 1.5 years, the vast majority aren't college kids, either in the summer or during the school year. I've known a few chicas who worked BT at night and did a few computer classes in the day, but they were from Acapulco and that was an afterthought after they found themselves bored in Nuevo Laredo. ONCE, I did have an (awesome) session with an adorable chica at Papagayo (last October) who gave her name as Perla and said she was 18 and an engineering student in Monterrey. Normally she said she bussed up for Fri and Sat nights, but I met her on a Wednesday--she said that that week was an exam break or study break so she figured she do the whole week in NL. I'm not an engineer but I asked her what she was taking and she said calculus and some other stuff (forget what), which at least checked out. [Irrelevant story--She also taught me a new term--she was wearing a very nice white evening dress and said she didn't want to look corriente, which puzzled me--then she made me understand that it meant "cheap," like "looking cheap", by smacking her gum, and putting her hands on her hips. Need Advice/Help

I just got back from Boys Town on Sunday and I am in need of some advice and possibly some help. To make a long story short, I met a girl at Papagayo's for the second time, the first being during Thanksgiving weekend. She has told me that she only comes to Boys Town when she can get away from here job in Acapulco. We have had nothing but great times together. On Saturday I had all intentions to give her my email address, but on Saturday night when she told me she had to go, I was thinking "to the room" and not "on an all nighter" and never had a chance to talk to her. Just to make sure we are all on the same page, I wanted her to have my email address so we could become better friends and not because I am wanting to marry her. So, the advice I am looking for is the answer to the question "is it possible that this girl would want to communicate with me via email?" If the answer might be yes, then the help I am in need of is getting my email address to her. Again, since she has no schedule of when she attends, I am in need of either a regular guy or a friend of one of the regular girls. Was in Boystown on Friday night.Went down to see a favorite at Maribu. Not quite right. Call it an obsession maybe. Met her one time at the bar and refused her. Came back a few weeks later and sat and talked to her for an hour or so. she shared a taxi to her home and me to the border. Then Christmas week, I had this overwhelming urge to be with her.
