12/10/2005: I think that I read something about this new club being open. However, when I went to NOGI this weekend it was closed.

One tout told me that all the chica's quit because of some crap the management tried. A different tout said they had to close down because of some electrical issues or bribes not paid to the inspectors. Never know what to believe in that town, but I hope the new club does not repeat the mistakes that have ruined the old clubs

As you say - never know what to believe in that town - but don't believe what the street touts tell you. They'll make up all kinds of shit if they think it'll make them a buck.

I hope the new club does well. TD's needs some real competition to reign in their prices. But I ain't holding my breath...

They seem to think that every new club has to be higher end than the previous one. Fuck that, give me a cheap, sleazy place and I will return.

Was back in NOGI on Wednesday night and discovered the club called DIVA's has finally opened just south of Lord Blacks.

This is NOT upscale at all, interior is boring, chairs are crap and just two dancers at the time. Privado is the usual chair in an open alcove.

Another club bites the dust.
DIVAs barely got of the ground before crashing.
It was dark tonight and there was a big "se venda" / "se renta" sign above the door.

good news for us! Sooner or later even those morons running the nogi clubs into the ground will realize that if they dont re-think their practices they will suffer the same fate.
