I've driven what seems like a hundred times between Phoenix and San Diego during the last 20 years, from college roadtripping to just last month. I only wish that 20 years ago I had known about Mexicali and Bar San Diego. It's not classy. It's dark. The waiters look like wooden soldiers on acid. But you know what, after you get past those little things, the place is kind of homey.

My last trip was on a Friday night. I finished printing my internet-purchased Mexican car insurance and drove casually home from work. The 805 freeway on Friday at rush hour isn't one of San Diego's more pleasant attractions, so I relax at home for an hour knowing that Mexicali is just over 2 hours away and if i leave at 7 I can roll into Bar San Diego before 10. It's an easy drive across the border because I did my relaxing at home, and now I follow the easy rectangular pattern through Mexicali to the bar and park nearby.

Many of the girls are the same as were here last year just before Christmas. A statuesque brunette with a silcone rack who said she was from Acapulco is still working. She wasn't much fun last December but seems to be doing a good business. Younger, less experienced girls sit near the door near the back. I take a seat at the bar. I've heard that some places don't like patrons to do this because the girls like to hang at the bar, but I've never had a problem. I know a little Spanish thanks to a Colombian girlfriend in college, but that little bit is fine. Remember the place is homey. Smoky sometimes too, but homey.

There are twenty or so girls around on this Friday, with new faces popping up every few minutes. I spend half an hour with a little hardbody and head back to the bar for a Tecate or two. A cute thing with big brown puppy dog eyes approaches and there's dessert. She's a little bit older but all natural and she knows a trick or two.

I'm thinking as I head back across the border that the girls are not 10s unless we're on a 15 scale by twisted American standards, but they are mostly nice, friendly, and ready to show you a good time. And if you like Latinas like I do, it's a nice treat to take a couple hours or so with the Mexicali girls. You can be back across the border and on your way without hassle, for about the same price as a wild night of tits near your face in Phoenix or San Diego. You make the call.

I made a visit to Bar San Diego recently. According to what I was told by a couple of the girls and what I saw, it's probably not the best time to visit for the next couple weeks. There seems to be some kind of month long festival going on and lots of the girls are away.

Damn you brought back some wonderful memories with those pictures and caused me to shed a tear. This was my first, Puteria (whore house) that I ever visited. I was working for a maquiladora and one of the guys from the plant brought me there. There was also another place called, Gris y Gris, is it still around? (It’s been about fifteen years since I last went there). This was more of a nightclub with working girls. The owner was an exact replica of Paquita del Barrio, a famous singer in Mexico who also owns a nightclub. I can remember, staying there all night and then leaving at 7:30am to go straight back to work.

Milkman how did carolina look? I hope she is still a knockout, if she is let me know. I am going to visit my familia in San Luis, so let me know if it is worth the drive to Bar San Diego from San Luis. When is a good time to find her, or if there is a better chick than her, tell me.

Listen I am going to san luis next week but I want to visit Mexicali. Where do you recommend me to go? To the disco clubs or to the bars? I'm only going to be there for a couple hours so I'll be looking for the best action. I made a trip to Mexicali for the first time. My only stop was BSD. Real quiet and low key place with about 15 women working. Jukebox for music and no dancing. The woman and waiters I talked to were friendly and not pushy at all. I ended up going to the room with Guadalupe, an attractive 33 year old. Great time in the room, $50 plus $15 for the room plus $10 tip. I will probably check out the other places even though they are ( I think) all strip clubs. BSD is a safe bet but no real stunners.

Made my first trip to BSD with my buddies. As stated before, low key bar with 15-20 ladies walking around. Not the hard bodies you find at MM, but I believe someone for everyone. I chose Samantha, a 5'-2" young lady. She gave a great BBBJ and CFS. $65 total, including the room. Looking to get laid with no hassle, BSD is the place to go.

This was the first time I went to Bar San Diego. Small place, decent selection of girls. The drinks were cheap, about $1.50 for each drink. There are about 7-10 girls in the bar. Some girls are in their early twenties. Going rate is $50 for the girl and $20 for the room. The motel is around back. Overall had a good experience. Closes early on weekdays at 0130 A.M.

So in Explorer terms that would be $3, $1.50 for her and $1.50 for her friend.
