My favorita (novia) is coming to town next weekend, and we have two wonderful nights to enjoy the city.
I know she would love to go dancing. Any club recommendations? Obviously, I know of the ones right on the border and along the north end of Obregon, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any that were further south -- say in the area of Titanic or even further south.

Diabetic: What kind of music / scene are you looking for? The clubs right near the border are mostly catering to younger appetites, but there are others to please other tastes.

nogi boy:
She is much younger than I (so is everyone else on this planet!), so I guess I want to go someplace where they have contemporary music, where a young, beautiful, delicate chica with an old fat bald anglo won't cause a problem. I also want to avoid the places where you can get a bucket of beer for $8, since the drinkig is very low on our priority.

Checkout the Gitano. Mostly locals.

Diabetic: Unfortunately the etoh accompanies the night scene wherever you go. My preference is to stay away from the "teeny bopper" clubs where alcohol + young ages = distrubances of peace.
I would suggest the following (these are in order from North to South [kind of]):
1) Bora Bora
2) Cherry's sports bar
I'll suggest a few more when my head clears a bit.....

El Pasaje, EL Oasis, are also nice places to go, sit with your honey and enjoy the music. Oasis has a live band.
These are all in the first few blocks (walking distance) of Nogales.
