Anyone been down to Nogales lately? I am thinking about going down this weekend. Are there any clubs still open and if so, are they worth it? Any alternatives? Thanks guys, AZ

Any interesting clubs on the American side to meet women, American or Mexican. Not necessarily mongering but....

I have a friend who'd like to meet women but isn't into the whole mongering thing.

I guess the Mexican side would work too but he knows my little habit and has some unreasonable bias against it.

There are plenty of regular bars on the Mexican side but I think it depends on your age. Some of the regular bars are geared toward the young crowd.

I would suggest places like Gitano and Salong Regis. There are other such as La Taberna. You really just have to walk around and peek your head into the non-stripclub bars. I have had good luck with locals at Jacarondas. Tecolote is another one.

That's what I figured. Was hoping someone knew about the American side for my friend. Ah, well.

Thanks for the help though. It's good to have current info on the Mexican side. May just end up going to Hermosillo in February or March. LOL
