Regio, are you familiar with this new airport shuttle called Skybus? I've included the address and the blurb from their website.

How far would the direction on Cardenas be from the central camionera? Could you get there on the subway? If not, how much would a taxi cost? Thanks.

Terminal Valle Oriente
Av. Lázaro Cardenas 2266
Monterrey, N.L.

Also, I've noticed that Senda seems to be operating hourly shuttle service from the central camionera to the airport. Are you aware of this? Wow 70 pesos sure beats 240 pesos any day of the week. Thanks for any info and specific terminal info for these two services.

Quilombo,
I have added for you convenience the location on my map. It will appear on Page 2 of the Google Map
Got so much info it has spilled into a new one.

Let me answer your questions:

How far would the direction on Cardenas be from the central camionera?
A: I don't want to sound disrespectful. You need the full name, Lazaro Cardenas to get there. And the answer is "far"

Could you get there on the subway?
A: Nope

If not, how much would a taxi cost?
A: Probably 60 pesos. Remember am local. I don't use taxis.

Senda has a shuttle from the bus station?
Probably much better for you to get it there than at the Skybus Terminal.
Skybus is for the Colonia del Valle district and the Country-Tecnologico area. Not for the downtown zone.

Regio, muchas gracias. Well, thought I'd add a little bit more info as well. I emailed Grupo Senda.com and they informed me that the 70 peso shuttle to and from the airport is at a location, which looks to me maybe a couple miles east of the Central Camionera. I'll paste the exact message I received:

Este servicio sale directamente de la Sucursal Y Griega ubicada en:

Fco. I. Madero No. 3924
Col. Agrícola Acero,
Monterrey, N.L.
Tel. 81919375 y 76 EXT. 88#164
Horario de 24hrs.

I pulled out an old Guia Roji Monterrey map that I've had for more years than I care to remember, and it looks like the Senda place is just a bit east of Felix U Gomez Street.

My question for you now is, what would be the nearest subway stop to Col. Agricola Acero? Thanks for any pertinent info. Every damn time I've gone to MTY, I've always paid the hefty cab fare to the airport, mostly out of laziness, because I usually travel pretty light. Maybe I won't be doing that anymore...

Quilombo
I have added the Senda Terminal "Sucursal Y Griega" to the Google Map.
Only trouble is I don't know the exact location of the terminal, but it's there on Madero.

Switch between Map and Satellite view and you'll notice the Subway terminal right there.
The name... sorry, dunno.
But the Senda terminal must be right there, either a little foward of the icon, or a little back towards the Subway stop.
