More drug cartel violence in Nogie this week!

Had to go to Nogie to pick up some prescription meds on Friday. There are still some good deals on some meds in Mexico these days. As my Health Insurance only covers catastrophic and has a pretty big deductible, I still get some of my meds here, especially the non-generic variety that you still can't get in Walmart for $4. The prices in the U.S are coming down,though,and the prices in Mx are going up? With an Obama Health plan looming, I wonder if the days of the Mx pharmacies are doomed?

On a this Friday night, most of Nogales was a damn ghost town, including the disco's!!! Apparently a shootout the night with around 5 dead and who know how many wounded, made everybody nervous, and you could feel it.

And this reinforces my theory that most of the strip-clubs in Nogie have deep drug cartel connections. Although most were open, girls were there. music was playing: THERE WERE NO CUSTOMERS, not even locals. A dancer at Obsessions told me I was the first customer in about 4 hours!! WTF

Oh, and the shit-heads still want >$100+ for FS in the back room. The only way these places stay open is that they DO NOT NEED $ from anybody (the girls and employees do, though) I was approached by a dancer whom I've known for years about doing a private deal outside the club for about 75 for the hour plus room cost. She never did outside club arrangments before, but she said she is not making anymoney and the club still wants thier full cut from the girls!

The management is using the clubs to disguise money laundering. All cash business, You don't need customers all the time, the money just keeps showing up in the "tills" though.

From what I understand there are fights among the cartels for the privilege of moving drugs through the border towns. The older Columbian/S.A./Mexican cartels are fighting the newer Mexican/American meth cartels for control. With the Mexican police and Federales in the middle.

I know it sounds like a plot from a Clint Eastwood movie!!

With the current border climate, the paperwork and the declining dollar, I wonder if the last nails are in the coffin for the present incarnation of border sex in Nogie.

It's one thing wasting your time to go down a check things out and maybe "take one for the team" and relay info back to this board but that does not include getting in the way of a stray bullet or hand-grenade!

On the other hand I have made some progress in the smaller border-towns. I am almost loath to disclose any of this because of the climate for cheap pussy would no doubt drive up prices on my find! LOL
