Ok gents, I'm free NYE. Last night I talked to Negro about New Years Eve in Nogi. He said some of the clubs will be open. We also discussed getting a place to party. He's pretty sure that for about $200 he can set us up with our own house to party in New Years Eve. He can also help get some party girls, and any party favors we and they would like. Wouldn't surprise me if most of these girls will come along for the night for little more than the cost of the party favors. If there are 4 or more of us, I think the cost would be pretty reasonable. And if you don't like the chica you're with - there's plenty more about.

I don't doubt that it would probably be money well spent, however I think that it is more than I am willing to spend. I realize your point that we all probably spend that easily, yet I have a pretty good idea of what I can accomplish with that money. However, paying a $250 cover to get in is more of a risk than I am willing to take. I appreciate your taking the time to arrange such an event and hopefully we can give you more notice in the future. Should you be able to easily cover the 25 person quote I would probably reconsider.

Let's say a Monday/Sunday or whenever the bar is closed. Instead of a Flat door fee of 200-250 ( Which to me is cheap for what you're getting but might scare some off) try a flat door fee of a lot less maybe $30-$50 AND $5.00 laps, A single low price/tier for beverages, Lets say 1-1,50 beers, 100 wells drinks. etc UNLIMITED time in the VIP @$10-15 and maybe a flat rate for the girls, say $40. FS.

This is, I know not far off from what you waould normally pay, but you would get the PRIVATE Party angle which I would pay extra for. I sometimes daydream to be locked in a club with several of the chicas. The key is to get enough mongers together to make make it a finacial viability for the chicas and club owner. I think the chicas would go for it as it would guarantee them a bunch of Horny gringos for a specific period of time all buying...

Anyway, I think any variation of the theme would work, and I am not adverse to DragonCelt or any other monger pulling down a fee to put this together.

I think the New Year deal is great, but came just a bit too late for me to change plans. But I think another Private Party could be be planned and with enough notice, should be a great success.

Okay fellazz, here's the scoop: it appears all or most the clubs will be closed. Phoenixguy told me that he found out last night that at least Rio, LB and Placer's will be closed. I also know that Obsessions will be closed. Who knows about Cherry's, Lipstick, Ferni's or Titanic. Maybe Cherry's will be open for a while but I don't know.

So all/most of the clubs will be closed BUT...

Phoenixguy told me that he has arranged for a couple of "motel" rooms for a party at a motel a couple miles from the border. It sounded like they're already secured and paid for. That is all I know at the moment. I'm going to try to get a hold of him to find out more details. I'll post them if/when I get them, if I can.

Well, lets say it was interesting, to say the very least... I showed up at tecolote around 10pm, and ran into Alex, he said more people will be there, Papi C was there, and some mongers from tucson, so there were about five of us at tecolote... ALL OF THE STRIP BARS WERE CLOSED....even la conga was closed.. Phoenixguy, I agree. I've heard rumors about another try at the private party idea - this time with a little less sticker shock and some more advance notice. My $.02 is to just pay enough to get a club and stock it with booze and girls - let the girls work their own deals (ie freelance). Should be much cheaper.

The best thing to do is meet at a club on an off night. You will be the only ones in the club anyway and you won't have to pay the overhead. These girls are mercenaries and will only go where the money is with a few exceptions. For the hotel parties use the pimps or Isabella and the freelancers. It is too fucking expensive to buy out these bars/bar girls.

Gitanos, La Jungla, and Coco Loco are all good. However, the percentage of Americans at Coco Loco and La Jungla are immensely higher.

Gitano's was playing banda and/or norteno NYE night. Is that the regular fare there? I dance to disco so bad that my HOOKER just threw in the towel after a while when I tried to dance with her at Jungla. Now THAT is bad... But maybe I could get by with some slow, sappy banda tunes.

While not totally familiar with Nogales --only been there a couple times. I am very familiar with other areas of Mexico and I have no trouble believing the stories of Nogi_boy or Papa_c. I am not saying they are true -- but I KNOW they are possible. I hook up with local girls in Mexico all the time. I have picked up girls in discos, sports bars, taco stands -- you name it. I am in my thirties and have no trouble getting 18-21 year hard bodies back to mi casa. I speak poor Spanish, maybe a 3 on a scale of 10. I have experiences that I have a hard time believing myself! My advice is to learn a little Spanish and hang out in normal places and you should have no trouble picking up girls "gratis"

Thanks, Husker, for your post. Look guys,If I was BSing all of you, you would find out the truth sooner or later. Then where would that leave me? I know that we can all get more and better girls away from the TD bars. What have you got to loose? And if you cant dance just buy them a few more drinks before going on the dance floor. Buy some new clothes. Look sharp. If nothing else when you see a girl you like, go buy some flowers and bring them to her table. It won't matter if you cant speak a word of spanish. If a guy that is older that Baby's grandfather can do this then I think that all of you can too.

Doagoncelt, work has been hell for me. I might miss next weekend too.That will make 5 weekends in the last year that I have not been in Nogie.This job sucks. I think that I will give it up and become a pimp in Nogales.

Anybody know what is going on this year? It looks like I will be heading down with a buddy and two girls. We will likely end up at Coco Loco or Jungla. Doesn't sound like the TD's will be open based on last year. Who else is gonna be down?
