In the past, I have read much information on Playa Del Carmen as it pertain to "hobbyists". Most of the information I have read about Playa Del Carmen centers around Chilly Willys and how expensive a session is with the chicas, especially compared to elsewhere in Mexico. It surprised me to see that no one has mentioned Trician Massage. I can't imagine that no one else has ever heard about it, as it is advertised in the local tourist guide found in town. And, if you call the phone number and ask the lady what the services include, she says "one hour massage and sex". No beating around the bush. So, here is my review of Trician Massage.

Before you try to visit Trician Massage, pick up a tourist guide of Playa Del Carmen in town. Look through the ads for Trician Massage. The reason is that their phone number seems to change occasionally. Call that phone number and make an appointment.

Then, you'll have to catch a cab in town and ask to go to the massage house. Many of the cab drivers may not know where you are talking about, but show them the ad in the tourist guide. They may try to talk you into going to Chilly Willys, as I am sure they get a kickback. But tell them no.

You will head into the heart of Playa Del Carmen, and it will seem like the cab driver turns onto a rough, dirt alley. But this is the right way. It seems very safe, as I have visited Trician Massage at all hours of the night (I believe they are open 24 hours). The cab driver will tell you to wait in the cab as he rings the bell and announces over the intercom that you are here. The lady will come to the door and let you in. The cab driver will then park and wait for you to finish.

The lady will walk you thru a small courtyard with a man-made waterfall, into a surprisingly nice house. She will ask you to sit at the kitchen table and offer you a drink. She will then call upstairs and ask the girls to come down. They will come down the spiral staircase one at a time. Every time I have been there, there have been three or four girls. I would say that the girls were about 5-8 in looks, and dressed very nice. I have never seen a girl over what looks like thirty years old, and most are closer to twenty. The amount of English spoken will vary from none to fluent. You then make your choice and the lady will tell you how much. I usually take an hour session for $100.00 US. They also have 30 minute sessions and 45 minute sessions.

The lady will then announce your selection to the girls, and up the spiral staircase you will go to meet your choice. There are two bedrooms upstairs, but you will go into the larger. And I do mean larger. There is a massage table and a plain mattress bed and lots of room. There is even a small bathroom in this bedroom.

You will then get down to the fun. Depending on the individual girl, you may or may not get a massage (if she doesn't offer, you just have to ask). The massage varys in time and quality. No shower is offered, but I believe there is a shower in the bathroom. I always shower before I visit.

You then move to the bed for the sex. Again, as always YMMV. Expect to always play safe. In the times that I have been there, I have not had a bad experience. No one has rushed me out the door, and I have always walked away satisfied. Multiple cups are always available.

When you finish, you clean up in the bathroom (one time the chica helped me clean-up, the rest of the time I was on my own). Tipping is not expected, but is always welcome. Then, out the door to the waiting cab. The cab takes you back to town, or wherever you want. The cost for the cab is about $15.00 US.

So, although the total cost is not as cheap as Boys Town, or even some of the places out on Cozumel, there is no hassle and is not as outrageously priced as Chilly Willys.

DK is right on the money with this place, which is really just an old-fashioned bordello with massage services thrown-in. Visited there mid-March '03 and found the following: at least 4 girls available around the clock,7/7, 365/365 (so says the matron),2 of whom I'd rate at least 8. Prices (you'll be giving yourself a discount by paying in pesos, as quoted here):1 hr. = 1,000;
45 min. = 900; 30 min. = 800; 20 minutes = 700; 15 min.= 600(I assume the latter prices serve to make the place accessible to the locals who can only afford a quickie rapidissimo). If you want a massage as prelude, just ask for one.
Location: on a dirt street just off Avenida 30 (approximately calle 28). Tell the cab driver (should cost 15 pesos one way--don't have him wait, since you can always catch a cab back on Avenida 30) that you want to go to "El Fogon" on Ave.30 near calle 28 (there's another one on Ave. 30, so make sure he understands you want the one near calle 28). Then walk the 100 feet to the entrance (past "La Selva" cantina--didn't check it out but possibly interesting), look for a yellow painted entranceway with iron gate. Keep buzzing until you get an answer (they're slow to respond). The Madame will escort you in, call down the girls to introduce themselves, and then show you the price list. On your way out, be sure to grab some tacos al pastor (pork with pineapple) at El Fogon (5pm -4am), really scrumptious.

And here's a place that may be an alternative to "Trician": Centro Relax, which, judging by its
website (centrorelax.com.mx) offers a sensuous massage plus hj. I'm just guessing, but I'll check it out next time I'm in Playa (early Jan.). The website is loaded with images and detailed
explanations on things like the positions favored by the Kama Sutra, 5 techniques for learning
how to delay ejaculation, etc. All very scientific, but titillating nonetheless. Ya gotta know Spanish, though. They also have a branch in the D.F.

Just a quick note on Trician Massage: it's still in business (as of Jan.'04), rates & format unchanged, but only limited selection (1 or 2) when I was last there.

Just a note on a previous post, the one concerning the massage joint known as "Centro Relax". It is straight. It provides a very soothing, sensual massage, but no touching of the places you might like to have touched by a cute masseuse (who is dressed like a medical technician). Cost is 250 pesos for 45 minutes

looking for new info on Trician Massage in PDC

Iīve been in PDC for the past two weeks. If Trician Massage is still in business, it must have changed its name or gone underground. Iīve looked for its ad in the local tourist guides and in some of the local newspapers without any success.

Some guy on 5th did approach me and asked me if I wanted a "girl." I guess I looked like a horny tourist. I declined since I suspected he was going to take me to Chilly Willys and I didnīt want to get ripped off.

This is my first trip to Mexico. I like PDC and its topless beaches. There sure are alot of single European (mostly Italian) women here. Those Italian women sure donīt hold back their fury when the Mexican men/boys stroll the beaches and stand around to gawk at them and take photos of them topless. Itīs kind of amusing.
