How to call Alex from Mexico:

1) Get some coins from a store or pharmacy. Like most of the world, Mexico uses measured service. Since you are calling a cell phone the fee is 7 pesos for the first 4 minutes. Since Alex speaks excellent English, that is plenty of time to tell him where to meet you. To place the call you first lift the handset and listen for a dial tone. This tells you if the phone is even working. Then you dial the number. And finally a voice will tell you to put in your money.

or,

2) Buy a phone card from a store or pharmacy. Most pay phones near the border will only take phone cards. Multi-lingual instructions are posted on most of the phones. You lift the handset, insert the card, it reads how much credit is left on the card, THEN you dial the number, it places the call and debits the card.

For the curious:
044 means you are calling a cell phone;
631 is the City Code for Nogales;
3065356 is the phone itself.

In your mongering a girl may give you her phone number with a different City Code. That means she brought her phone with her from Obregon or where-ever and it will be a more expensive long distance call.

RIPOFF REPORT:

The fat, bald Alex who wears a Dallas Cowboys Jersey with J. Jones #21 on the back and a baseball cap is now a petty thief working with the other crackhead Bruce(read my other report). I have known Alex for probably 8 years just like Bruce. They were always trustworthy until now. Alex burned me for hundreds of dollars last night. So the new trend in Nogales is not to help Americans find certain things for a fee, but just take the money and run. They are very short-sighted which leads me to believe they are desperate and have a serious drug habit to support.

If they were smart, they would do good business and make more in the long run.

Once again this is my fault for being stupid and trusting somebody.

The good news is I can make that money back in a day legitimately and they can't so it doesn't matter to me unless I see them. They are pieces of shit and need to be taken off the streets.

The rule of thumb which I haven't been following is don't pay for anything up front until you have the merchandise or the service has been rendered.

Roberto, this is off topic but since you're around let me ask you what's happening with the plan to close all the clubs downtown and near downtown and establish a boystown type concentration of the puta business further south from la linea? This plan was reported here last spring as something that was in the works for the end of this year or early next year.

Actually, I think it would be a good thing for Nogales mongers as the clubs would probably be less harassed by cops and the city government and would be free to make prostitution more open (and should be cheaper) then it was in the border clubs which were officially not tolerated as brothels. Maybe a few more places like La Conga with more chicas and better selection...a Tijuanaization of Nogales.

The street in front of all the clubs caved in from the flooding. Instead of fixing it, they are making it worse. There are only Lord Black and Boleiro left. Fernis was busted for digging a tunnel and the owner died. So it looks like that area will die and be resurrected somewhere further south. I am not a fan of Nogales or its residents these days.

They fixed the street and it is business as usual. Just very dead and thieves everywhere. Fuck you Alex you piece of shit!

The other day my friend's family and my family were all seated together in Hotel Fray San Marcos Bar. Alex made the mistake of walking in and when he saw me he ran out like a little bitch. I wish my wife and kids wouldn't have been there so I could have smashed his fat fucking face in.

Once again I was in the Hotel Fray San Marcos bar/restaurant yesterday with my 2 small kids. First I see Bruce walk in and sit at the end of the bar. I wasn't about to start a bar fight in front of my kids. I could hear he was waiting for Alex. I suspected all along they worked together after they both burned me. Next Alex walked in and they both quickly exited when they saw me. Some people have killed for less than what those 2 owe me. Whenever I am alone I can never find these guys and whenever my wife and/or kids are around they come out like cockroaches. Steer clear of fat Alex and bald Bruce.

Come to think of it, I don't even trust the staff at Fray San Marcos. They told me those guys were banned for stealing the bartender's cell phone and other items yet they seemed quite welcome. I guess the locals will tell you one thing to get a tip and do the other when another local shows up. Nobody gives a fuck about you in Mexico.
