Dance Halls
There are several places within the rather loosely organized Zona near the Central bus station in Monterrey where you can dance and drink with your girl. Their job is to dance and drink, but the chicas most of the local guys are scoring with are from these bars. You either pay them a dollar a dance or pay 'time', which is generally about 7 bucks per half hour and paid directly to the girl. You are expected to buy them drinks on top of that, but at least they're cheap drinks and no fichas. I will review some of these clubs individually as I get the chance.
These are just the bars where they have semi-pro types available. The normal clubs where the chicas go to dance for free are a different ballgame.
