Puebla is not the world's best mongering site, its a very conservative city. The locals go to the nearby village of Atlixco for fun.

Spend a bit more than a month in Puebla again this year.

Couldn't manage a repeat of my previous experience, in which I "leased" a wife for three weeks or so. I was hanging out in high-class bars.

Did spent some quality time in some of the strip clubs. Pretty straightforward, but they charge "American" rates, since most of their customers are drug dealers or Germans working at the VW plant.

Tried to get a little out-of-band action, but couldn't make it work. Plus, I was feeling so $#@# swamped with the work I was doing that it just wasn't worth the effort.

Explorer, what info can you provide on the Atlixco connection? I'd love to know more details about the place, since I'll surely be returning to Puebla again someday...

I've never ever actually been to the casas de senoritas in Atlixco, but they are well known, all you have to do is take the bus to the town, and take a cab (if worse comes to worse, you can cab it back to Puebla for a few pesos, if it gets late).

I have been to the hooker bars in Izucar de Matamoros, but a long time ago. I'm sure its the same deal.

As you know, Puebla is a pretty conservative place, so the action is largely out of town.

Oye, Dem

Did you by chance hit a place in Puebla called "El Cisne Azul" I had heard about on a clubhombre post? Was it pretty good?

By Palmiro on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 - 03:16 pm:  Edit

Was in Puebla April over Easter weekend--bad time for mongering. A casa de cita mentioned on another website, Kristal, has been closed down for the abusive treatment given to the chicas. Found one place on 29 oriente, cheap (250 pesos for one shot), but unimpressive selection. Any cabbie should know how to get there (it's due north of the center). My cabbie assured me, though, that the less-than-impressive selection was due to the holidays and that on a good day there'd be 15 girls working. Set up with a one-way mirror so you can observe the offerings without committing yourself. Oh, by the way, for a great meal using the mole sauce for which Puebla is world-wide famous, try the Royalty restaurant/hotel on the Zocalo--you can get a plastic jar to take some home with you. And for the best steak sandwich (called a "Cemita") go the Mercado del Carmen.

I forgot to mention that you can find about 20 adds in the local paper, "El Sol", under "masajes". Prices range from 400 to over 1000. My guess is that these services might require some command of Spanish.

Another month in Pue. I didn't get a rent-a-spouse this time, but I did have a fair amount of luck with ficha girls. If this is your thing, try a new club "Sadieron" at Blvd Norte 1830. Carlos, the dueño, is a buddy from a different bar -- apparently the family is branching out. This place is the big leagues, so the good looking girls wind up here, while the chunky monkeys go to their other bars. If there's such a thing as a "high end" ficha bar, this is it.

I'll second the report of the $250 place. I think its in the paper as "Pretty Woman", but don't hold me to that. A couple of nuevos amigos and I drove around honking at gates for a while before we tried it. I found a cute little thing that claimed to be Poblana, but she was the only decent looker in the crowd. No one-way mirror, although that may be a matter of lighting: there was a glass half-wall that might have acted as a mirror if the lights were off on one side.

I also had some good luck with Club Xanadu, finding a skinny little thing (too tall for 'spinner') that I hooked up with out of school a few times. She did anal, which shocked me when I realized it, but the ring never lies...

According to some numbers she was tracking in her purse, she's making about $70k USD (!!!) per annum assuming that the weeks worth of numbers I saw were representative. The middle class is obviously alive and well in Puebla, and from what I've heard around town they all are working for the government.

Another sure sign there will be a conflict of some kind in the next decade. They're just due for one...

I am supposed to be in Puebla in a couple of weeks, so maybe I will check this place out. The street name "Blvd Norte 1830" sounds kind of strange, though.

By The Gnomes of Zurich on Wednesday, June 08, 2005 - 10:25 am:  Edit

Blvd Norte is about 41 Nte. #1830 is the address.

Intersection of Blvd Nte and 18 Pte, plus a few doors.

Be careful, though, about announcing plans for Puebla. I exchanged emails with one Hombre who told me he was coming to town and then had a heart attack. Apparently Puebla is more peligroso than we thought...

Not to worry, I have been to Puebla many times with no problems.

By The Gnomes of Zurich on Wednesday, June 08, 2005 - 04:19 pm:  Edit

I'm not worried. I got in and got out without announcing my plans. The only things I suffered from were altitude sickness, food sickness, and now a wicked cold from moving from Puebla to Veracruz.

Plus it burns when I pee...

Any other info on action in Puebla would be greatly appreciated, I will probably just have one night free(from the ball and chain) and so I want to make the most of it.

Go to Sadieren, then Xanadu or Porky´s. The last two are strip clubs, so you're guaranteed a good time at a considerable cost. Sadieren has a private room upstairs, and the one time I tried it I got sex at no additional cost (obviously she wanted a propina...) but nothing extra: no oral, no kissing, just sex.

PS: Privadas $200/song

By Explorer8939 on Friday, June 10, 2005 - 06:06 am:  Edit

Wow, Puebla is certainly expensive! That's $20 for a lap dance.

By The Gnomes of Zurich on Sunday, June 12, 2005 - 03:38 pm:  Edit

Actually, it's about $80 for straight sex. (If you can 'feeneesh' in 3 minutes, you can save some money, obviously...)

guau, mucha lana para el sexo. Perhaps I should consider exploring Atlisco or some other pueblito.

By Gregorio on Monday, June 13, 2005 - 03:22 am:  Edit

se fue para lana y salió trasquilado!!!

Yes, I spent a night in Puebla too, and thought it was semi-expensive. A frozen margarita in a martini glass set me back $4 USD. Now that's not right. LOL...

Puebla is famous for "tacos arabe" has anyone ever tried one? They are pretty damn good.

Puebla is NOT a hotspot mongering destination from all indications.

I have had some good times in Mexico City, but it tends to be expensive too. I know there are places that guys like me don't know about, where fun can be had cheap, but I never had the time, or the huevos to go looking for them in Mexico City. That place can give you the creeps sometimes...

By Explorer8939 on Monday, June 13, 2005 - 07:52 am:  Edit

Tacos de pan arabe was a special treat for me when I lived in Puebla.

My plan is to rent a car and drive around, which also means my hotel has to have secure parking.

By Lovesthezona on Thursday, June 16, 2005 - 05:05 pm:  Edit

I have stayed in 3 hotels in Puebla..all with excellent parking arrangements. The Marriott Puebla Real and Holiday Inn express, both on Av Hermanos Serdan, and the Holiday Inn on 2 Oriente (valet parking) about 3 blocks form the Zocalo. If you decide to stay there, make sure you have the mole poblano at just about ANY of the little restaurants within a couple blocks. Also Cafe Chese Viglia across the street from the HI is very good and very inexpensive.
