Kings Cross is the Red Light District for Sydney. It is a collection of seedy strip joints with drug addict dancers in run down clubs with high cover charges. First impressions were of a ripoff. Cover charges with the doorman seemed to be negotiable from $25AUS to $10AUS as I dithered.

I was there about a year ago. I thought that the Red Light District would be great - guess again...

Very disapointing to say the least. The best action (other than the brothels - which rule by the way!) would be the street action near and around Kings Cross, but the area itself is no big deal at all.
