I am an Australian guy fond of travelling . I have spent over 4 months in the beautiful Fiji islands in the South Pacific . Its 4 hours from the East coast of Australia or about 14 hours from the West coast of the USA . Air Pacific has daily flights from Sydney or Los Angeles . My travels took me to Lautoka , the second largest city . Situated in the Western regions , Lautoka is a modern vibrant city somewhat off the beaten tourist track .
There are street walkers virtually all over the town after 8pm all nights except Sundays . The rates vary from F($20 to $40 ) . 1 Fijian dollar equals 0.45 American . A better bet is to go to the popular Lautoka hotel , right in the heart of the city. Admission to the nightclubs is $3 . A drink of bourbon and coke will set you back $3 . Girls are virtually crawling . The good looking ones ( Having Polynesian , European and Western features ) will cost around $40 all nite. One thing about girls , there is no short term or casuals as the girls are not strictly professional . They will spend the night with you at the hotel but leave rather early . Lautoka Hotel is a decent 3-4 star hotel , air conditioned with good room service available for approx $40 Fijian.

Fiji is a common stop-over point for West Coast flights to Australia and New Zealand. Given the favorable $US-to Fijian$ exchange rate (1 to 1.77), I thought it might be worth checking out. The main island, where the international airport is located, is Viti N**.. which is close to the small city of Nadi. After some research, I chose the Dominion International Hotel, a few miles from the airport with a free shuttle. Rooms are about $50, basic but clean and functional. Rooms open onto the carpark, motel style, which avoids having to bring ladies through the lobby for those who worry about such things.
Mongering options are somewhat limited; small numbers of ladies distribute themselves along Queens road for a few hundred yards south of the hotel. The ladies are dark skinned and usuually Melanesian; some would say not as attractive as the polynesians of Tahiti etc. Asking price was $US40, whcih included oral and sex. Take care to establish the price and services on the street, as I found it necessary to do a little "re-negotiating" at the hotel.
The only other opportunities I heard about on Fiji were at the Disco of the Lautoka Hotel, in the town of Lautoka. This is also on Vitu Levu, about a 30 minute drive north of Nadi. I did not have a chance to check it out.
