Just returned from Samoa, both islands of (main) Upolu (750 square miles), and much bigger Sava'i. 3K year old culture. Outside of Apia (capital) is all village life...old fashion everything. Rent a car, see the island...Sinalei Hotel is on south side of island and is beautiful.

Many of the women In Samoa (not American Samoa) are slender and petite and beautiful. In Apia, centered around a little harbor, there are 3 night clubs, one is next door to our Hotel Kitano Tusitala (I can highly recommend); but there are also hostels and B+B's. I forget the name of that club. All the clubs have great get up and dance music by very talented locals.

The next club a block from the hotel and by the harbor and market place (not the food one) is the RSA Club...really fun and lots of girls. The other club, Mt. Vaia, is a short taxi ride away and large dance floor again with lots of girls. The girls do not ask for money they ask for romance and some food to enjoy.

On the island of Sava'i (go by ferry 45 minutes away; don't rent a car as the drive around the island is away from the shore and one boring village after another...but take the busses that show up when the ferries do and go to Manasse Beach Fales...tranquil manor; bring a girl with you (a must, none there) and relax and swim and relax some more in paradise on little beach w/ thatched huts along a quiet lagoon. All food (also very good) included, store down the street, $15 per day per person, Manasse has a mini-store...write down what you purchase and add it up on departure...some live music and entertainment....this is the real South Pacific.

The girls are very interested in meeting visitors and will go back to your hotel in Apia, no problem, they also go away from Samoa to get a "chance" at life in the real world. There are really no prostitutes just cool girls. I live in Hawaii and was very impressed and would go again, but next time I'd like to see Tonga and Fiji (again) as well, near by in the South Pacific.

Great report from an area nearly nobody writes about. Any pictures of the girls there? I tried a SG once who was from Guam and I thought she was very pretty. Your description of the women being slender took me by surprise though because most of the men are noted for very being burly.

It's true the fashion is to have waist length hair there still? I love that long wavy hair they got!

Would you say it is pretty easy to pick up a girl in Samoa for a night or get away?
