Here is a somewhat update on Dubai and the York, for those travelling to or through there. I stayed in Dubai for a night each way on my trip to the Philippines and each night went to the York. The York International Hotel has two places to drink and pick up hookers, the pub on the first floor and the club upstairs. Here is the deal, if you want a cheap freelancer, go to the pub, if you want a classy chick, go to the club. The club charges the chicks to get in at a ridiculous cost (it is free for us guys) and if they can't afford to get in, they hang out in the pub. Upstairs in the club, go anytime after 9:30 PM, the hookers trickle in around 9, and once you walk in, be prepared to be looked at up and down. Once you get your drink and find a seat, they will swarm. Be selective, they will make small talk for about 5 minutes and then get down to business because they don't wan to waste any time. In fact, they will try and hook customers early so they can get the job done and then come back for more customers. There are many hookers by 10 PM that it is like an international smorgasbord, but most of them now are chinese or from africa. If you find one (or two, they usually have a friend who will join in for double the cost), the bidding begins. Most of them start at 1000 dirham ($270 roughly) and you can try to bargain them down, but if you go lower than 600 dirham, they will leave and tell their friends you are a cheap charlie. My advice is, again, be selective, but keep the lines of communication open, feeding them lines like you are not ready yet, you will come back later when you ready, anything to keep them in line but online.

The club closes at 3 AM, so if you want a quick nut, find your girl(s) and head to their place if you can, by taxi. Once you finish, you can go back with the girl(s) in another taxi back to the club so they can make more money and you can find your next conquest.

I have also heard of a place called Rock Bottom, which is about a half mile away from York that I will be checking out in December when I head to Italy for Christmas. I will let you know how that place is when I get back.

I assume that you are giving prices for the upstairs club, somewhat pricey at around $200 if you can negotiate them down a bit. And that gets you short time? One pop? How was the service? And what kind of "cheap freelancer" prices are available in the pub?

Do you know anything about other options besides the hotels in Dubai?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. It is pricey, but you have to remember that you are in Dubai, a rich boys area. You can negotiate, more than likely get a 2 for 1 offer, same price, two chicks. This is what I usually get and unlike the Philippines where you f*ck one girl while the other waits by watching TV, both chicks get into it at the same time, a true 3some. It is as many pops as you can handle and the service is great, they will help you anyway they can. But they also want to go back to make more money, the longest time I had with two girls was a couple of hours and then we all went back to the York to party some more until they closed up. The freelancers downstairs when I was there were not the pick of the litter, although there were one or two out of about 12 girls that looked intriguing. And one thing to remember is that unlike Asia, there is no tag showing their medical check-ups, so if they cannot afford to get into the club upstairs, they may not be able to afford a doctor's visit. I just found a couple of links that might be able to help you out to find other places to go to as far as entertainment goes, but it doesn't specifically state where the chicks are, my experience tells me to go to the hot hotel bars and clubs. I will be in Dubai again on Dec 30 and then again for a couple of nights, Feb 23 and 24, if you are in town. Good luck.

The York Club is the least expensive pay for play that I have seen in Dubai, there is another close to the York, that has similar prices.
For the most part the York reminds me of the late club Help in Rio. It is filled with mostly African womem, with a few Asian's thrown in there and than the hidden diamonds in the shadow's from eastern bloc countries.
Like any other place the girls try to say a ridculus amount, low-ball the shit out of them and watch their prices drop as the night goes on. At about 3 a.m. is when you can really get over on them, for example one hot chick wanted 800AED for 2 hours, her friend wanted 600AED, that was at around midnight, at closing time I took both of them for 400AED total.

Entry price is $20, but it changes to $40 when it gets crowded at 1am, I go early, get my hand stamped, than come back later, when I have check out some other places.
