Thought I would shout out a howdy from beautiful Egypt. Sadly the action here is virtually nil, but I am loving the sites.
Enjoy a sunset on the Nile with my compliments!

Val I will be heading there mid next month and travel there quite frequently. There's decent action (most eastern european) in the Cairo Sheraton (not Gezirah) at the bar for around the $200 mark all night. Let me know where in Egypt you're at, I'd be happy to offer pointers.

Thanks for the offer Tut, but I have moved onto Istanbul after a week in Egypt and 4 days in Athens.
Here is a shot I took yesterday of the Blue Mosque. The lighting is odd because we were at the zenith of the eclipse here although we were a little too far north and only got about a 75% eclipse at best. The feeling was rather eerie
Enjoy!

Oh, and not to give Greece it's due, here is the famous city and burial place of Agamemnon Mycenea), and a shot of the Corinth Canal spanning the Ionian and Agean seas
Enjoy!

The sunset at the Nile is indeed beautiful and it does remind me of the sunset at the Mekong River in Cambodia.
There is a lot of action in Cairo. The last time I was in Cairo there was a ton of choices of local ethnic Arab talent but honestly I did not find them all that attractive. Since Cairo is a playgrounds for rich Saudis, Kuwaitis, and other Arabs who don't have this freedom in their own countries there is a lot of import from the East European countires. But I found prices to be on the high end and on top of that they are really used to high tips.
