This is arguably the best of the "off the island" strip joints... and this is one where "extras" are available. Prices for these "extras" are negotiable, but seem to be roughly $60 Canadian for BJ and $100 for full service.
It's a bit off the beaten track, which may not be a bad thing. It's about a 45-minute drive from downtown Montreal. I had wanted to check this place out, but bad weather and the fact that part of the trip is on back roads scared me off. Plus, I didn't have much time.
I'll pass along the directions I had written down... from downtown Montreal, take Autoroute 15 south toward the US border. Take the exit for route 202, which is one of the last (if not THE last) exits before the border. Head east on 202 (that's "est" in French) for what looks to be about 6-7 miles (rough estimation here). Chez Diane is supposed to be on the south side of route 202 in a small town called Clarenceville.
If you're driving up from upstate NY, you'd take I-87 up to the border, which becomes Autoroute 15, and get off at the route 202 exit.
It looks to be only 2-3 miles from the US border, as the crow flies.
By all accounts, this place appears to be one of the best-kept secrets in Quebec province. Can anyone provide a first-hand account?
Only drawback is that this bar is occasionally raided by police. (as are others like it)

I was there last week on Tuesday afternoon, everything you heard checks out! Good place to stop on the way to Montreal.

No police raids while you were there? Just kidding... they're supposed to be few and far between.
Any more details about the place? I'm curious to know what I missed out on.

It is out in the middle of no where, girls are 7-8's, fills up fast in the late afternoon-evening.They are joined to a restaurant so it is a good place to stop for dinner on your way to Montreal or Quebec city.

Actually, if it's east of 15/87, I recommend hanging a right and go east onto US 2 just before the border and taking the back road north along the lake. You avoid the backups on I-87, and the border checkpoint on the lake looks like an old country gas station, with no lines at all. The wait on 87 can be brutal on some days.
