The other day (Thursday) i took a fast jaunt to Nogales, Mexico. The last Nogales posting on this site was a while ago so was unsure what i would find. Over all a good time was found.

Twords the right, next to the boarder crossing, there is a 24hr-guarded parking lot (Eds border lot). $5 U.S. for 24hr and no problems. I changed U.S. to pesos but hind sight showed this was not needed and more of a hinderance. It was about quitting time when i got there so it was a little cooler and the streets had plenty of freelancers walking about looking for their first date. I saw a real looker and made a date with her for later that nite. Nogales is full of tourist shops that close around 7pm so if you want, go early for this.

Once across the border I walked a block in and to the left (across the train tracks). There I found a row of strip bars but only a few are now open. Club 69 is now called studio 69 , next to it is Lust. They open at 11am-3am and both have a good selection of chicas. Lipstick, Lord Black and VIP-fiesta are closed. Laconga was open but dead. These strip bars were mostly typical... first drink= 2for1 then beer was $2. It was a pain to convert this to pesos because apparently everyone in Nogales uses dollars, my change was in dollars so more hassle to keep pesos separate.

Girls came to the table one at a time and tried to get cozy and a bar drink ($10). This turned out to be the best way to enjoy the scenery. The bars were dark with big seats so these girls would sit mostly on my lap and my hands had free roaming and they did the same. While this was going on 1 or 2 were on stage showing it all. They offered private dances ($20) but it was no different than what i got for a $10 dancer drink. The girls were not slamming down their drink, either. It boiled down to $120-140 would get you a private dance with full service and the chica i picked, a tiny brown spinner with a fine little ass, wanted a tip, I gave $20 and she earned it. These strip bar girls were 19-30yr old and from a 6 to a 9. Plenty of choices all around.

Back across the train tracks not too far away I found a massage parlor, Osiris, and picked another honey for a mouth filling. This place was nestled amid tourist shops so it was fun to know the smith family could be shopping right next to where I was getting a bbbj. They had 6 girls available the same quality as the strip bars. $40 for the massage and $50 tip for the girl. She enjoyed her job fully. After, I walked around for a few blocks as everything I needed were there. I found a few more strip bars and stopped in for beers and stink finger.

It was time to meet my freelance date. She was waiting outside the hotel she suggested, only 1/2 block from the strip bar I was in (Sorry, can't remember the name of hotel). It was nice and my date told me it was popular and has been here for quite some time. $40 for the room and for another $50 I pounded her for 3.5 hours and 2 more loads. Quite an enjoyable nite.

I used to have big fun with great beauties in Nogales a decade ago, and had a surprisingly good time my last visit a couple of years ago. Sounds however like there are even fewer venues available now than the dwindling number available 2 years ago. But given the limitations of our time, money and leche, we don't need 100 available hot chicas to make a good time - just a few. I found more than I could handle on my last trip.

There are actually several recent posts on Nogales, so this newbie just has not found his way around yet.

The drug violence has driven the gringos away, so a number of clubs have failed. Although I never felt any danger on my recent friday night visit, the number of people on the street was far below a year ago.

LUST was shut down and had SI VENTA sign during my visit. This report seems to suggest it is open again.

Otherwise, only Bolerios, Studio 69 and obsessions were open last month. El Potros is about the same for low quality freelancers and Eros Massage is still an option.

That's funny! If you don't have $20 to buy a passport card which is good for 10 years...so $2 per year is the cost, then you don't have money to get laid in Nogales, or even for a few beers.

It more like people are too stupid, lazy or can't get a passport card. There are issues like child support, etc that will prevent you from getting one.

Nogales will always be a special town for me. I started going at age 18 to drink way back in 92. The place was a blast back then. Around the year 2000 Nogales was absolutely booming with dance clubs and strip clubs. I met my wife there and the town eventually died out for many reasons but mainly greed. I still go but it's just not the same. Hopefully it's not dead forever. They just need the right people to take over and some city cooperation.

You are so right! Starting with the stupid prices. It must be the most expensive place in the world for bad service. I doubt it will get better anytime soon.

I think Nogie holds a special place for a lot of guys from this area. I started going in the 70's to drink and hit Canal Street. Very different back then.

It slowed down before the violence picked up when they took the curtains down off the privados. Seems like it goes in cycles. It will be back. In some ways I thought it was better than TJ when it was really rocking.

Nogie was brought down by forces mostly beyond the control of the club owners. Pretty clearly, open prostitution is not tolerated in Nogie to the degree it is in some other cities in Mexico. At its peak, going to Nogales wasn't about getting laid...at least not in a real bed in a real room. It was about cheap thrills in a booth behind a curtain, or in some cases, a closed door. Plenty of guys got laid in those booths...for a few minutes sitting up on a chair. Basically though, we are talking about private lapdances with extras.

The Nogales clubs didn't and don't have attached hotels to send happy couples to like the TJ clubs do. I'm sure they would if they could. A couple of clubs like Lord Black had open private room options which they surely charged too much for - and it was only 1-2 rooms. But most guys were there to party in the bar, enjoy the shows and the cheap but intense privados. Eventually the clubs could no longer legally have the private rooms - so in the following years and I presume through the present, they send you to fuck in the supply closet, in the manager's office, some bunker, or some secret chamber off a fire escape assessable through an alley.

In Nogie, you had to play the game and that meant the curtained booths. So I agree with AZguy that the removal of the curtains which meant elimination of extras in private dances, a development surely compelled by the city, spelled the end of the golden age.

Since then the clubs and chicas could be doing better by facilitating hookups at lower prices - so yeah greed is a factor now in creating further damage. I presume the clubs still demand salidas if you take the chicas to a hotel during shift. Your other choice is to go to "secret" private rooms under the club's control - the last time I saw that happen it was an operation involving 3 dudes with walkie talkies watching out for police and strategically guiding a dude and chica to some secret chamber away from the club - more like an espionage operation than a simple monger hookup.

So the city doesn't tolerate the clubs having an open Private Room setup inside the clubs or attached hotels or curtains on the booths. What's the answer? I suppose it would be to toss away the salidas and have the chicas charge more like TJ type prices to go to nearby hotels.

My last trip was a success only because I was lucky enough to meet a chica who was a semi-pro and available to do an outdate the following night and she was fucking incredible and fucked me incredibly in her own home for far too few pesos. I hit the jackpot and there aren't enough of them to go around. On my last night I met another couple of real good ones who I could have made similar arrangements with - but my time was up. Had to leave town the following morning so my options that night were a curtainless booth or a big fat salida to the club to let us go to a nearby hotel. In the old days I would have been happy to do some dirty work behind a curtain and business happened.

So when it comes right down to it, Nogales just really is very limited as a "zone of toleration". There are parts of L.A. which have much more wide open in-club prostitution than could ever happen in Nogales.

Azguy, I had similar experiences when I first discovered Nogie. Never forget the excitement of going up to that dive Ferni's which nevertheless had very large and well lighted private booths compared to the dark closets in Lipsticks. Really hot shows and the hottest girl there tried to depants me tableside, then dragged me into a booth and everything BB without a request for any tip. Since the clubs were too stupid to charge *reasonable* barfines, that was a death sentence for quick fun, which in turn killed most of the clubs' income.

I explored Nogie around 7 years ago. I decided that fucking in a filthy, narrow booth for around $100 for one or two songs was not for me and drove on to Hermosillo. I tried a freelancer in Nogie once and was ripped off. I have checked the prices at the one and only MP in town and found them to be 2-3x what I have paid in Hermosillo.

The first time I visited an MP in Hermosillo I met Carolina. Again, this is about 7 years ago. I picked her out of a line-up on one hot summer afternoon. She was a very beautiful, big titted brunette of about 20 years of age. I took her to my nice clean No Tell Motel room and fucked her on some nice clean sheets. Call me a fucking romantic but I prefer that over a dirty, filthy little closet with curtain!

I have no great love for Nogales as it stands today, but seven years ago the situation was pretty damed good. In 2010 it is pretty much what you describe. However, you cannot beat the convienience of parking north of the border and walking south for a few hours of nasty fun.

I would love to try Hermosilla, but I do not feel comfortable driving into Mexico and my Spanish is lacking. Furthermore, the US Consolate warns against driving Highway 15 to Hermosillo.

What can you tell me about taking an air conditioned bus from Nogales to Hermosillo? I see the buses at the port of entry, but have not checked prices or schedules.

Once I get to Hermosillo, how difficult is it to find boys town? Is there a boys town or are the fun spots clandestine and scattered all over town?

I would prefer to go back to Asia, but job does not want to give my a five week break anytime soon.
