I did some research on Madrid before my trip and found out that there was a pickup bar for high end girls very close to my hotel. In fact, it was only a 5 minute walk away. I knew I'd need to make it there.



Pigmalion is on a nondescript block two streets north of the Gregorio Maranion Metro. Its pretty much one block due north of the Intercontinental, if you want to use that as a landmark. I asked for directions until I found it, people on the street are usually helpful in Madrid.

I walked in on a Sunday night, theres no cover here and its a bar you'd expect to see in a gangster movie... maybe 30 girls were there with 5 or 6 guys courting them.

I went to the bar and ordered a Cuba Libre and the bartender told me that'd be 20 euros. I chatted up a very attractive woman from Valencia for a bit, and she told me it was slow there because Sundays are slow, and she said she'd be happy to accompany me to my hotel for 700 euros. I'm not sure where she came up with 700, but with that start point I wasn't even going to try to ballpark her down to my range.

Dr. J would probably pick up from this place, I doubt any of the rest of us would. I took off and headed for Flower's Park...
