I had selected this hi-end restaurant named "L'Assiette du Vin". Decided to eat outside on the patio.
What a meal! Foie gras to harden the arteries for life, a shrimp medley with veggies wrapped in a banana leaf, and creme-freshe filled tartufoes, with wine and water. The hit was 44.80 Euros.
From there I found a taxi driver waiting for his daughter who was taking a night course. He spoke English well and after her arrival, drove me down to the club district. I got his card and asked if he would give me a tour of Lyon the next day. To this he agreed.
Clubland was more like Collegetown; and was not exactly what I was hoping for. So after a quick beer; I then found a booze store open, so I bought some rum & coke for later; and a nice bottle of "Mumm's" for the next day's date.
Took a last cab home and had a few drinks. My dick was nice & sore; but I felt great. Crashed around 2:00 a.m.
