Left early to find these 2 beaches nearby the appt. They were terrible. Went to an Internet store for awhile; then found the main beach along "Promenade des Anglais". It was a beauty other than not a beach, because stones only, no sand. Took a few shots. Then off to this antique market which was packed. Lunch was at "Cote Sud". A salad Nicoise, lasagna au fond, water, a rose for a change and 2 scoops ice cream. Some lookers around - a mix of locals & tourists.





























After a little R&R; I went out again to score a phone. Could not beieve that the appt. had none. No land line; nor a cell. Found a shop and paid 39 Euros for a Samsung; using Vodophone. Air time was 10 more on top of the 5 that came with it.
Wasn't too hungry so picked up a sandwich and salad for dinner and immediately made a few calls. Nothing happening.
Went down to the Centre ville; and looked around. Again, loads of tourists but no action other than that at the ice cream parlours. This was not what I expected.

WTF is up with that beach....it is covered in rocks and people are laying on them with a little hand towel.
