The more time I spend in South America the more I like it. After leaving Lima I seriously am considering buying an apartment there to use as a vacation spot and possibly to move to full-time.

I'm sorry that I didn't take any photos. My trip got off to a slow start. Lions didn't allow photos nor did Scarlets. And by the time I got around to the TR freelancers, I had given up. I'll try to do better next time, but I hope my review is still helpful.

The people of Peru are very kind, passionate and generous. They are proud of their country and with good reason.

As a p4p destination I have mixed thoughts, but it depends on what you're looking for.

As I've mentioned, if you have limited time Lima can be tough. It is a large city with lots of traffic, and some of the venues are very difficult to get to. A new Metropolitano bus system may make this somewhat easier as it is built-out, but the fact remains that getting around takes up a lot of time and energy.

I think lima has a great potential for finding non-pro or semi-pro girls. If you invest time in these girls, and if you're somewhat attractive, kind and respectful, you could form great relationships here. I saw several non-pros on my trip who I think would have said yes if I asked them for a date. But I didn't have the time on this short trip.

I never found anywhere like Casarão in São Paulo where you could pay a small cover, and for around $70 you could spend an hour with a very hot girl. And you could do it two or three times a night if you want, all within walking distance from the hotel. Perhaps places like this exist, but I didn't find them.

And I never found anywhere with girls of the high quality of Bomboa in São Paulo.

There are a ton of cute girls in Peru. Most of the girls are cute. But in my opinion and to suit my taste, I saw very few stunners on my whole trip. It's hard to walk down the street in Sampa without bumping into a model-quality girl. In peru the girls have a different look. Some are very beautiful, but I don't know if any girls I saw in my travels knocked my socks off. Or to put it more bluntly, I don't know if I saw any girls worth more than $150-200.

I should have tried Las Cucardas and Kilate in my search for bargains. And I should have given Emmanuelle a second try in my search for quality. I have a feeling that the top-end girls in Lima will be cheaper than the top-end girls in Brazil, so I should have given it a better shot.

I know there are other low-end options if you speak spanish and have a sense of adventure, and some real diamonds in the rough. Even out in the pueblos on the edge of the city there are hostels and Baños Turcos. These areas can be rough, but I intend to explore them on future trips.

Next time I'll try some escorts and try harder to get numbers, etc. I generally don't like escorts, since you never know what you're going to get and it's rarely the girl you think you're getting. Since I had such limited time I didn't want to risk wasting an evening waiting for an escort. But others like RT have had good experiences with them, so it's worth a try.

To sum it up, I love Lima for the people, the atmosphere and the mood of the city. The food is first-rate and cheap, and in general it's a very interesting city. I will definitely return.

My next mongering experience, however, will probably be elsewhere. Perhaps Asia...

Remember, they have really BIG BIG earthquakes before you spend any money in Peru for an apt.

Good point majormajor. Maybe Sampa is a better bet after all.

I cannot say anything about the women,but you might consider Uruguay, the Northwest Coast of Brazil, or Joineville, or Navegantes south of Sao Paulo and north of Florionapollis, Another mice place no one talks about is Sao Vicente near Sao Paulo.

I have been to Peru many times (I was married to a Peruvian before). She was of Spanish/Italian descent, blond, light skinned...

Overall, however, the majority of the population has a very indigenous look. Kind of like the Amazonian part of Brazil. In my opinion not overall very attractive for me...but everyone has their own tastes. The upper middle to upper class, tends to be the lighter skinned of Spanish and Italian descent. These tend to be very clicky from what I have seen.... My ex-wife came from an affluent family and in the circle I hung out with there were some stunners. However, there is an incredible class divide and quite a bit of racism in the white population to the indigenous majority. That was the only part I did not like.

Overall Peruvian people are very kind and wonderful people, but "the look" of 80% + of the women population, however, is a mixed bag. In my opinion - again stressing MY OPINION only - the lookers tend to be the other 20% of the upper-middle/upper class side of Lima not the majority indigenous.

Don't get me wrong, they can't all be stunners. So something like Las Cucardas could represent a good value. I won't go with someone I don't find attractive, but I don't mind taking time to look for diamonds in the rough. I like 'cute' girls too, but I may not be willing to pay premium prices for them. Not getting to Cucardas was my biggest regret...but it'll be first on the list next trip.

I enjoy a good show so Kilate sounds fun.

I don't like the hustle that (you and others say) is normal at Emmanuelle, but sometimes I'll be willing to put up with it if the talent level is high enough.

This trip was particularly stressful due to the large amount of work I needed to finish in a short time. Next trip should be a bit longer and more relaxed. I plan to see some of the sites, still do some work but I'll have much more free time.

One more thing I forgot to mention--it really helps to speak Spanish. I can't imagine being very successful there without at least some basic knowledge of the language. I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of a gringo tax for the most part (except for that one taxista!). Speaking the language might have helped in that regard.

I never did get a good map of Lima. But it seemed like the metro will be a big help in getting around.

And finally, since you gotta go sometime, it might as well be in bed with a hot Brazillian!

The Metropolitano (public bus system) was still free when I left Lima about a month ago. I'm sure this either changed already or will soon, because they were handing out bus passes when i was there. You can actually check out the stops on Google maps and plan out your trips accordingly. What I ended up doing, which I think was the most economical way of getting around Lima was taking the M as close to where I was going as possible, and then taking a cab or hoofing it the rest of the way. This was how a got to Las Curcadas from Miraflores for only 6 s/ each way everyday for almost a week. I would take the M to the Estacion Central, and from there, take a cab to La Cachina. I noticed cabbies were charging more if they took me directly to Las Curcadas. La Cachina is a swap meet or open air mall that's right next door to Las Curcadas. I just walked the half block or so from there. Did the same thing for RyV #1. Just got off the Javier Prado stop in front of Torre Interbank and walked across the bridge which conveniently drops you off right in front of RyV.

I think there's lots of easy and cheap ways to get around the city. Taking cabs was great, but it did start to add up. I also noticed around rush hour, that as the bus was hauling ass down Republica, that there was bumber to bumber traffic on the car side. I can't say enough about the M, its definitely the way to go. I was discussing the advantages of the M with a cab driver one day, and he was telling me that there were a lot of "accidents" on the M. I'm sure they're a little bitter about how much business its taking away from them.

Casarão American Bar is at Rua Augusta 791. It was by far the best of the Rua Augusta places I tried. Girls ranged from 5-7 with some 8s and 9s thrown in and I had some great gfe service from some very attractive girls. Prices were in the 100Rs to 150Rs range for 40 min or an hour.

Cover is 10Rs and includes two beers. Just pick a girl, pay at the desk and head up to a room. I routinely saw two girls in a night and sometimes three. Between girls you could sit back, watch the action, have a beer and not get hassled for expensive drinks.

Visiting Columbia would be a good idea I suppose, since half of the girls I chose on this trip to Peru were Columbian!
