Actually there have been so many questions about my trip report, that I am finally posting it. Please accept my apology, I'm not a native speaker of English and may lack the spelling and humour many of you are able to provide.
Before I went to Ghana, I checked out the information on this board and some others. Surprisingly there is not much. But it was thrilling information, therefore I take the common questions and try to answer them.
Hell, chat up the desk clerk...
...most likely she will go with you. Posts indicates that nearly every woman will go with you. That's true. Ask - most likely they will follow, you DON'T need a polite way to ask - most likely they will go. Beware, in Africa the men make the decisions, if a girl is around with a guy, you need to approach him. If you are not sure, invite him for a beer. Cost: 50 US cents.
It's a little bit like this, everything is for sale.
10 US$ for everything
Well, the literate author Michel Houlebeque wrote about the hobby and put it like this:
"Where ever you go, p4p costs what western men are willing to pay for it, around 40 US$". (not an exact quote) Well you may negotiate hard and get it for 10 US$, but for most of us it will be 30-40US$. For all night? Everything? Bareback? Yes. Condoms for sexual intercourse may be requested, but not often.
There are two kinds of women, with children and without
Yes! Please take this as a warning. I cannot provide the reason, but a child does serious harm to their bodies. Oh my god. In the interview always ask if they have a child. If yes, pass. Sorry to say, there is no problem with this in Eastern Europe or in South America or even Asia, but in Africa - walk by...Unless you are a lover of stretch marks and heavily destroyed women's bodies. Tastes are different.
Most beautifull woman on the planet
No. Definitely not. Sorry to say, but the beautiful and intelligent left Africa long ago. What's left are the other ones. It is not my responsibility and there are problems in the world I cannot solve, especially at this board, but be aware, that everybody who could left this part of the world. Left are the rest.
Get a buddy
Yes, but be very, very carefull. It would help to chat up a male to be with you, go with you and if you like, chat up and fuck the same girls. But be carefull while choosing. Advantage: These guys know the way, are not shy, and make the best happen. But while noone is on social welfare, it does not exist, It could easily happen that they make you a target.
Where to go for the hobby?
Everywhere, but check out the university first, than the beach, than the clubs. You need to approach them first. No touts around. Luckily.
Recommended: Chat up the first in your hotel, tell them you are looking for a young, slim beautifull lady, give the person a small amount and wait...don't forget, young, slim and beautiful otherwise she is 50, 250 pounds and has eight kids....
Ghana
Is Ghana good or even better than the other African States? Well it's safe and it's peaceful, maybe a little bit boring, but very good for a first trip. Don't go to Nigeria unless you have very good buddies in this place. Or you are Special Forces.
The new destination?
No. Sorry to say it's not. Go there for something else you have to do in Africa, or just to have fun. You need to live with the hassles of Africa and within the hobby there are some. The smell of the girls, which is special, the lack of water (which means no one takes a shower before meeting you or in the last week/month/year - me I'm not too keen on it, but at a certain point my western side comes up and vomiting is not a gentleman's style) and the general situation is it's far from perfect. That doesn't count if you love nature or whatever.
Sorry for these kind of facts, but I'm not in charge of the tourist office Africa mongering side. I just try to be honest.
Short terms:
Hotels - oh my god, as long as you are not willing to pay a lot for Best Western Standard which will be 250US$ a night - the reason - just to get a light bulb will be a night mare, so to run a Best Western one should be awarded for "great manager close to hero".
Food - this continent lacks food. So bring your own and something for the 10 Million people with you.
Flights - not the hassle it had been, but still a challenge

Certainly a different location, but I think I will take a pass as well :-) The possibility of barebacking in Africa, especially, make me shiver.... this might be one of those places I would consider a full body condom...

Thanks for the "OTBP" (off the beaten path) report! They're always appreciated, even when the options portrayed are less than exciting...sometimes far less than exciting.
I had an opportunity to visit Ghana a couple of years ago. I passed on it, and now my organization has closed its Ghana operations. Pity ![]()

Im not a doctor or a disease researcher, but I do believe one of the questions asked at the last blood drive I attended was if I had ever spent an amount of time in Africa. If I had answered yes, then that qualified me as a "high risk" person in their book.
So I want to keep on the Red Cross's good side and will not be going to Africa any time in the future;)

That's more for malaria and other diseases than specifically for HIV or any STD.

Should you be giving blood if you habitually bareback sex trade workers?

United flies there daily via Washington D.C. I would like to cum visit next month, BUT!
Gringos need a tourist visa, and proof of yellow fever vacination. Girls may be plentiful and cheap, but hotels don't seem very good and are expensive. It doesn't seem like a favorable place to visit? It makes me think why "cum"???![]()
