I am honestly exhausted from some of the other things going on in my life. The plane ride was short and I did not want to just jump on the first woman I saw, but I could not resist this one.

You can find her hanging out at the pool at the New Garden Hotel. The price was right which is 1200 ($33) for 2-3 hours.

Here is a shot from the roof of the New Garden. This is basically what Sosua looks like. Its a 3rd world country that looks the part. Its not a clean or impressive place. I would also think twice before displaying anything valuable to anyone such as your DSLR or notebook computer. One man came up to me selling the Rosetta Stone and I got in a coversation with him. He said that he used to be in the US, but got busted for coke dealing and deported. I would be careful with bringing anything the slightest bit valuable to this destination.



The best way to exchange money is the big black guys on the street. They might be intimidating, but they do have the best exchange rate. Imagine, changing money with some shady looking dude with fistfulls of dollars and other foreign money. He does offer the best rate in town so why not?

Hey let me be one to offer thanks for your report without the sarcasm. $33 for 2-3 hours is a damn good price in the mongernomics of 2010.

no shit. $33 for a long short time is not bad factoring in the quicker time and lower cost to destination for many in the US.

I for one have been long debating a short 5-6 day DR trip, but never do it. My time off work is somewhat limited affording me enough for a couple of two weekers out of country and not much more. I will be interesting to read this take on it.

After I posted the above, I fell asleep. Sorry brothers. Im a little older and so cant keep up the pace of flying, drinking and fucking. I woke up at around 9pm hearing a big party downstairs. The younger crowd was having a big party down by the pool. I paniced and ran down thinking that all the good stuff would be taken up by now.

I did my best and was able to scrape up this one from the leftovers down at the pool There are no white women in the DR, but many shades of brown and black. It depends upon what you like, if you favor a lighter or darker tone...they have the skinnies and the slenders if you like that, but the majority are of the curvier persuasion with full asses.

This one I bargained down to 1500 and she decided to stick around me a little longer then a few hours. Sometimes its not good to have the chicas stick around though. They start asking for things like drinks/food and then you are put into the position to either accept or deny. You dont want to be the bad guy, so usually you accept and the food/drink bill just keeps running. Soon what seemed like a good deal starts to sour. You also dont want to go to sleep with the lady in the room unless all your stuff is locked down or in a Pac-Safe...www.pacsafe.com. One guy at breakfast (free breakfast everyday at the New Garden BTW) commented on how his laptop got stolen when the chica decided to split after he took a nap.

I couldnt complain about the service. The sex was first rate. She wanted to hit the Disco with me, but I wanted to move on to bigger and better things. I dont like to stick with just one chica on these trips.

After the one I posted above, I went out on the the town after having a few Presidente's. I settled for the best looking chica I could find one block away in the disco/bar area. Its one street with a row of bars and clubs and hundreds of ladies. Go up to anyone and make a deal.

This chica was a stunner, but an utter and complete bitch for a lack of a better word. I was as nice as I could, but she gave me attitude through the whole episode. When I was done, I asked if I could take a photo and she said "Chow!" and walked out with her head turned high. I couldnt resist because she was in a killer red dress, but she was definately more like the devil then the angel. No pictures of her...I did try my best.

The women will always start out at 2000-3000, but in Latin America bargaining is the rule not the exception. Bargaining is a sport and thats how business is done here. Just be nice, but keep trying to nail it lower. 1500 for 2-3 hours or one pop is the going rate. During the morning-early afternoon is what I call "Happy Hour" where you can score on the dirt cheap at around 1000 for an hour or so of action. As I type this at 11am, there are already a healthy set of chicas mulling poolside.

The sex here is first-rate with women willing to do whatever you want. The first two ladies allowed me to spank and pull their hair, but the last one wasnt having that...haha. The service from the ladies is inconsistent. You might find one that will give you that GFE while another one seems all business. Brush up on the Espanol because the chicas wont understand your English.

I will be honest and to the point. The New Garden Hotel and the surrounding area is a dump. I have not seen one police officer patrolling the streets and I am not sure if there is even a local force. This town reminds me of TJ back in the 80s...before anyone decided to renovate or build. The ride from the airport to the hotel would really intimidate someone who may not be used to this country. I saw a man with large machette just hanging out and groups of black men hanging around hole in the wall bars on bikes. The Dominican Republic's version of the "Galloping Goose"? The restaurants do not look like they have ever been visited by a Board of Health and I close my eyes when eating. I ordered some spaghetti at one place and what came was anyone's guess.

The hotel room does not have a phone and looks like its been thoroughly beat. The bed is not so comfortable and probably was new in the 80s. However, the New Garden is right in the middle of the action, the A/C is strong and the television has a hundred channels. Free wifi...its a dump, but its the best little dump in this town.

The main event though is right by the pool or just a walk outside of the gate. Always gangs of chicas looking for action at the pool or down on the street or in the disco. Looks can be deceiving. An especially hot chick might be more of a problem then you bargained so its important to gauge their attitude before taking them back.

Sorry for my punctuation and grammar...still recovering from last night. As I type this, Im shooing away the ladies from the pool while downing another Presidente. I will give the ladies an A for effort if nothing else...

Nice honest thoughts! I doubt they will let you pull their hair though. You will pull out all of their extensions and that will infuriate them.

A few thoughts:

If those prices are right the mongering is a bargain.

Having chicks just show up at the hotel throughout the day sounds ideal and should save a bundle vs AC barhopping for example.

The hotel/room doesn't look too bad, how grungy is the bathroom?

The room is livable once you get used to it. Imagine a well used Motel 6 back in the states. It will do the job. I dont want to create any high expectations of the lodging should someone see this report and go with the New Garden. It will get the job done and it seems like a lot of mongers use it as their vacation spot. They do give you your choice from the breakfast menu as the free breakfast.

I saw some other hotels that appear newer with signs out. All of the ones I saw had the same rates as the New Garden.

There is another place that is popular which is Black Beards Adult Resort.

BlackBeards is away from the Sosua scene though. At the Black Beards, you have to choose from what ladies come to the hotel. There are usually a good assortment though that come. At the New Garden, you can either fish from the poolside or head out to the town.

The reason why I say its the Black Man's Angeles City in the title of the thread is because Sosua is basically a few streets filled with several bars and discos almost like AC. There are differences in the structure like there are no mamasons and you basically have to do all the fishing...you pick up the ladies and the price is negotiable. However, the main difference is the ladies are more colorful then AC. You will find jet black Nubian types and then there are the lighter brown skinned ones that look almost white. Although they speak a version of Spanish, there are no real Latino looking women in the DR that I can see. They all seem a version of Black and Brown to me.

The prices are really up to the monger and how he negotiates the deal. Other factors might be the time of day, mood of the lady and such, etc. There are quite a few bars with ladies hanging outside so if one woman wont go for it then just keep walking and trying.

If there is one thing the New Garden does have, that is a few hundred television stations. It may not have a phone, the furniture might be from another era and the bed is hard as rock, but they have the best cable that I have seen in a hotel and dont forget the free breakfast;)

There were much chubbier ones then this one. This one wasnt truly a big ass - big tits woman. This one has tits and ass, but they are not so big to make it into the book of most big tit/ass fans scrap books.

They had plenty of big ass-big tits women there though. The ones that had those were not afraid to show it off.

To be honest, some of these women seemed to resist kissing. They all kissed to an extent, but past a certain point there was resistance.

I paid all of the ladies you see the basic rate of 1500 which is about 40 dollars. However, if you sweetened the pot a little and threw at them a little more money and negotiated a bit at the start then they would probably be more willing.

One guy, who knew Spanish, paid the ladies 3000 pesos and made them stay all night long. He claimed they gave a lot more service at 3000 pesos. Thinking back, I should have probably paid them a bit more that way they would not feel like they have to get back out on the strip to get another John. All these ladies are probably supporting a mother, father, sister, brother, or child so money is important to them.

When I go back, I might try the Passion bar. This bar charges a hefty premium to what you get out on the street, but it might be worth it since the bar is moderating the ladies behavior and making sure they stick to a certain standard.

So I think if you want more service from the ladies then money talks. Knowing what I know now, then I would have paid 3000 pesos rather then cheap charlie at 1500. I would rather have one good overnight stay with multiple bangs then a handful of 1-2 hour stays.

Hey Portege...I'm a little late in the game on your post but wanted to say thanks for the info and the pics. I love women of color...light skinned to nubian...from the petite spinners to the curvacious apple bottoms. I can't wait to my vacation coming up this summer. Again, thanks for sharing.

At least 60 trips to the North Coast in the past 6 years and I can guarantee you that paying 3,000 peso versus 1,500 peso might get you more time (and that's assuming the chica doesn't try and turn TLN into ST) but won't necessarily guarantee a better performance.
