The scene consists of several large bars and discos where the ladies hang out of. The ladies are very aggressive and will come up to you even so far as to grab your dick. The ladies will always talk a good game up front, but what happens once up in the room can be different.

The women always seem to ask for 2000 pesos or about 50 US dollars for "short time". "Short time" seems to take on different meanings depending upon the lady. Sometimes its about 30 minutes while others will go for several hours. You can bargain them down to 1000-1500 pesos if you are savvy enough, but beware the ladies will try to upgrade the price once in the room saying something like you took too long. Some guys seem to be very good at negotiating the price down to super cheap rates while others just pay what is asked. You really need to be street smart, savvy and a good negotiator with these ladies. Every guy here seems to get ripped off at least once and has an amazing story.

The ladies are interested in cash and that is why they are out there. If you are willing to pony up more pesos then they will probably stay longer. A sweet attitude only goes so far...the women respect the peso first and foremost.

Make sure to get a firm agreement IN SPANISH as to the price, how long the lady will stay and what the lady will do exactly. Once back in the room, if the woman tries to get an early release from the agreement then just say you will have to dock her pay as she went back on the agreement.

Beware that some women will get emotional and yell "No!" in an obnoxious voice if they are not getting what they think they deserve. Therefore, it is important to get a firm agreement in Spanish before you take them back to the room. A lot of women are very scammy so watch them carefully and head them off before they can pull whatever trick they have up their sleeve.

Here are some pictures of the bars in the morning. I will try to get more pictures at night. During the night time, the bars are packed solid to the point where it is standing room only. A wide assortment of women scantily dressed seem to fill the scene. A lot of women are Black while others are shades of brown. Many are very curvacious. Only a few are truly slender with white skin.

I did not try La Passion when I was there and stuck with freelancers (these are by far the most common). None of them had to answer to particular bar (i.e. check-out or in), and freely floated between bars. Since Sosua has been compared to AC a few times in this report - Bar Fines do not exist in AC. Most certainly they did not carry a health card.... Since you mention Haiti - Haitian girls are very common in Sosua..the best one I was with was one. I am curious if this is different at La Passion, but I would be very surprised if it is. Sosua is about as laid back Caribbean, with a Latin touch, as it gets - can't imagine health inspectors making rounds :-). It reminded me alot of Bahia, Brazil.

I checked out the link, and the "Menu" section (http://www.lapassion-sosua.com/menu.php). Prices for "Take-out" seem very high compared to the going rate. I personally did not have any problems finding girls in the 2000-3000 range that stayed all night. 6:00pm - 10:00am the next morning is being quoted on the site for 5000...

The way I had the best success was not asking any questions upfront - I just hung-out with the cuties I liked. If she was cool, did not pressure me to go back to the room, then it seemed to work out fine in the end. If within the first 5-15 minutes she trying to get me back to the room, it turned out bad (Yes, I did get suckered into this with one super hottie - later regretted it)

Sorry, I re-read my post and could not edit it after the fact. I meant that the island of Hispaniola (Haiti/DR) has evidence showing that its HIV rates are higher than any other place except those contained within Africa.
With Haiti being stricken with the major earthquake, it seems logical that most of those working girls are probably Haitian.

....ah yeah it is, when the HIV rate is at least 10 times higher here than other typical mongering venues (Colombia, Cuba, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, etc.) and land-bordering country suffered a catastrophic disaster with absolute impoverished conditions. Sousa is not a place where you want to practice bare backing. The government does not test the ladies in these bars and they are not registered. There is no such thing as a health card in the DR.

Do the women demand condom usage for Blow jobs? You will be able to tell the girls that are Haitian as they will not be able to understand Spanish at my level. No way in hell I would touch a Haitian chica.

It is fairly easy to spot a Haitian chick. A chick from Haiti has a passport versus an ID card. They also have jet black skin, speak a different version of Spanish (different accent/tone) and they will tell you that they are from Haiti. When in doubt, just check their id and ask them where they are from.

None of the ladies have demanded condom usage during blowjobs.

I took these pictures at around 8pm and the clubs are still empty at that time. Usually they pick up after 9pm.

I realize that you dont speak Spanish but I am fluent and can tell the difference between French and Spanish....Haitians dont speak Spanish.

They don't really speak French either. A buddy of mine is Cajun and when we had to go into Haiti back in 1994, he got stuck with being a translator for almost a year. The Haitian patois is a poor cousin to Cajun patois - which is saying something.

I remember driving through Little Haiti in Miami a few times and the signs on stores were spelled out phonetically - Doo instead of deux, that sort of thing.

But, your main point is very valid. They definitely don't speak Spanish, and calling their patois "a different version of Spanish" is about as accurate - and comical - as calling modern English "a different version of German".

Haitian's speak Creole, a version of French. The Haitian's I met in DR did speak some or even fluent Spanish, but communicated to each other in Creole. So overall, if you speak Spanish, you should be fine even with the Haitian chicks....In my opinion they are a little more relaxed and less cut throat then the DR girls...

On another note Club 59/Classico does not get going until about midnight...

That latter part crossed my mind as well..my Haitian girl was ready to go bareback (I kept her for a couple of days) but I quickly nixed that idea & bagged it. Overall, however, with her and her friends...and subsequent other Haitian's I met - they do hang out together - I had good experiences.
