The Terra Linda is a newer and much better built hotel then the New Garden. It is about 50 feet away from the New Garden. While the Terra Linda is not officially a monger-friendly hotel, they do allow overnight guests. You can take the ladies back to this hotel without issue.
The difference between the hotels is like night and day. While the New Garden feels like a Motel 6, the Terra Linda feels like the Marriott. It has the look and feel of a first world hotel while the New Garden is obviously what you would expect in the 3rd world.
There are no chicas hanging around the pool at the Terra Linda and not as many mongers. The difference in price between the hotels is $15 a night. The restaurant at the Terra Linda seems like a fine dining establishment. The rooms have comfortable beds and LCD televisions. In contrast, the restaurant at the New Garden seems like a cheap diner and the food is edible at best.
As I write this, only a few rooms appear to be occupied at the Terra Linda and I am not sure as to why. The difference in price is negligible for a 5-10 day stay when compared to the quality. If I had known about the Terra Linda, then I would have stayed there. It is a lot better then the New Garden, although, you wont meet as many mongers at the Terra Linda.
