I had a wonderful time on this trip, and I’m sorry I didn’t come here a long time ago. But then again, it’s not like I haven’t been to a lot of places where I ate my fill of sexy women. Even with the language barrier, Medellin is now up there with the PI in my top 5 list.
Although I mostly didn’t get the best sex (BB), the first trip was exploration to figure it all out, and I achieved my purpose there.
Pisses me off that I spent all that time learning Portuguese instead of Spanish—I keep uttering the Portuguese words instead of Spanish. When I saw Paulina in the morning, “Bom dia” automatically came out of my mouth instead of “buenas dias”, and I keep saying “mas” instead of “pero.” Oh well, I’ll learn it eventually. Gives me a good excuse to return so I can practice.
My biggest regret is that I didn’t hook up with fellow mongers, preferably Hombres, to hang out with and go on the town. Next time, I will probably stay at the Mansion/El Castillo or equivalent. I want to go after the street girls next time, which means I would do best with a wingman (or a driver/guide) and a little more Spanish.
I think I’ll also try to arrange some dates through the dating websites, both with prepagos and with regular girls. Sandman told me that would be an excellent way to see some of Medellin, and to even get laid. There are two from this trip I want to see again, and am corresponding with them via email.
Spirit Air has $99 fares several days a week LAX-Medellin and back, and maybe I can avoid the $60 luggage fees by packing really light. It’s a long flight, but not like going to SEA; a short trip makes sense.
My friend Wayne is now regretting that he didn't come along, and is pushing me to show him Medellin--soon (now that I'm such an expert). And I will.
Hasta la vista!

I’m glad you had fun, there is always a learning curve to any new destination, next time at Catagena to your trip you will not regret it!

Hunterman!
Glad to hear you had a good time!
I am game for MDE anytime. I am getting ready for a biz visit to Bogota in a month or so, should be interesting and hope to come up with some good experiences but everything you read out there is Medellin/Medellin/Medellin!
I likely can go there early next year it would be nice to coordinate and party a bit with a possee.
Mas instead of pero is not quite incorrect in the proper context btw.
Hasta la vista amigo!

HM,
Thanks for taking the time to post your trip report. However, after reading your previous chapters, I was quite surprised to see your glowing praise of Medellin as a monger venue. When I read your report, I got a sense, girls were difficult and not service oriented, and that there was not an abundance of venues or great quantity or quality of girls.
I would be personally interested in reading a list of positive and negative points about mongering in Medellin from your perspective.
By Blazers on Friday, October 15, 2010 - 11:20 pm: Edit |
I will be there for Thanksgiving. He didn't go for the super hottie street girls in Mayorista, didnt get Mansion girls and it sounds in general that his MO was a limited perspective of venues.
I guess that does happen on ones first trip and it does take time to understand the lay of the land.

It takes time to figure out Medellin, maybe as many as 10 trips.
By Hunterman on Sunday, October 17, 2010 - 09:34 pm: Edit |
MX,
First, I have to say that some of my enthusiasm for Medellin is probably because the mini-trip there completely cleared my head of some things that had been weighing on my soul back home. Those situations/problems didn’t enter my head for one minute, and that refreshed me considerably. (And I was able to get a bit of work done there--productively, for a change.) I came home very happy.
Also, I'm very impressionable. I had a good time with Jack and his wife, and generally had good impressions overall. This was better than my first trip to Rio. I "picked up" an attractive Medellin woman in the Ft. Lauderdale airport--and I don't pick up women easily.
But I didn’t get enough experience to define positive and negative points at this time, only impressions based on very limited experience and observations, along with information from fellow Hombres and others who have a lot more experience.
A lot of my enthusiasm is for the potential that I saw, which corroborated information from my friends that I did not personally experience. Potential that I will be better able to take advantage of when I can speak Spanish better.
I saw lots of street girls lined up like in Singapore, and the reported pricing is very attractive to me--all I need is a little more Spanish so I can interview/qualify them. I elected not to sample them this trip, but will not pass them up next time.
But I had a pretty good time overall. I had really good experiences with three girls there, a dud experience with two (perhaps partly due to my inability to communicate much), and decent experiences with the rest. There were NO bad experiences with anyone, which is probably a first—there's usually one sour lemon each trip.
And I didn't take advantage of the possibility of introductions from several possible sources, which I will do next time. Tried and true girls, known quantities.
Blazers is right, I had a very limited range of venues. The strip clubs I went to were so-so, but there was at least one doable girl in each place. Most of the line-ups in the casas had multiple girls I could have done, some were very sexy.
But many of the women that I saw all over Medellin were very attractive, and the quantity of breast meat (artificial or not) that I observed was impressive.

JimmyDR.
Can you enlighten us on why someone would need 10 Trips to figure out Medellin especially with access to this site. Can you give us newbies a cliff-notes version so we don't need that many.
I figured out TJ in about 1/2 an afternoon, Havana in about 3 days and Rio in about 2 trips.
For example in Rio de Janeiro, it did take me a few trips to find a couple of Brasilian guys who organized modeling shows. They were slightly paranoid until I convinced them I wasnt some narc trying to bust them for pimping girls. They have hooked me up some super-cute girls I would never meet at the typical P4P venues and far less. If I am willing to spend decent cash(~$500), I could even have access to real magazine models.
But, I would say within 4 trips I figured out all the best places to find girls from Niteroi to Recife, a distance of probably a good 50 kilometers. Rio is probably 5 times bigger than Medellin so I don't understand why I would 10 trips there to figure it out.
By JIMMYDR on Monday, October 18, 2010 - 09:29 am: Edit |
Medellin is a very large city with many suburbs. Its much larger than TJ.
There are maybe 500 restaurants and bars in Laurelas. There are maybe 300 bars and restaurants in Poblado.
There may be a 1,000 in centro. You can go to Bello and Sabaneta and add on another 1,000 places to eat and drink.
There are 10,000's of 1,000's of chicas working in all these places and walking around.
I start off all conversation with food and an invite and the chicas all love that. I talk about the various barrios and it keeps their attention.
I spent 2 trips exploring Poblado, another 3 exploring Laurelas and then I moved from La 70 to Nuttaberra and spent 3 trips exploring there.
Have you been to Santa Fe or the parks or the pools?
I can talk about Medellin all day.
By Azguy on Monday, October 18, 2010 - 09:34 am: Edit |
Medellin is pretty simple. It takes one trip to figure it out and two to really get in the groove. Naturally the more you go somewhere, you find out new things, develop new friendships. Maybe it takes longer if you stay at a place like the Mansion and rely on them for entertainment.
By JIMMYDR on Monday, October 18, 2010 - 09:40 am: Edit |
I have been in the Laurelas area for 2.5 years now. I found a nice pizza place on some side street with about 8 chicas working there and we had a blast.

JimmyD.
Are we talking about P4P girls or finding a girl to date?
If the latter, then you might as well add any establishment that has women including the gym, supermarkets, coffee shops, etc. I might be able to go into my downtown Starbucks and pick up a girl at the sugar/cream bar (or maybe not). If a friend was visiting me from out of town and wanted to see hot women I could take him to this Starbucks at 8am and see the nice ladies in their business suits, but then he would have get her number, organize a day/time, make plans....yada-yada.
From the information I gathered on this site there are 2-3 decent strip places (SanDiego/Fase), a half-dozen massage places(like Loutron), about 10 normal clubs (like Mango's), the 2 houses/brothels in El Castillo and the Mansion and then your street-girl action. And maybe some cheap casas (like New Life). And throw in some girls which local CH members(Sandman, Hemp) might advise. It just seems to me with a little bit of planning, a 2-week trip could pretty much see 80% of it.
By JIMMYDR on Monday, October 18, 2010 - 01:22 pm: Edit |
I believe that as many as 80% of all women in Medellin are up for making extra cash.
There may be about 50 cheap casas, 100 normal clubs. You will need many trips to locate them all. There are places where you and two buddies can drink and dance with 3 chicas for 2 hours and spend maybe $15 each guy.
By Cincoleche on Monday, October 18, 2010 - 05:12 pm: Edit |
Jim. With all that easy, readily-available Medellin ass...you just missed getting laid 3 times in the span of typing of that reply.
I need to check this place out soon.
By Lovingmarvin on Monday, October 18, 2010 - 05:23 pm: Edit |
CL - "Niteroi to Recife, a distance of probably a good 50 kilometers???" Its a hell of alot more then that....more like 2000km or more...So if you were able to figure out all the best places to monger with that kind of distance in just a few trips, well...that would be impossible! I am assuming you probably meant Recreio..
By JIMMYDR on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 - 07:33 am: Edit |
Twice a day is plenty for me but if I could do it 20 times a day, it could be done in Medellin

"I believe that as many as 80% of all women in Medellin are up for making extra cash."
jimmyDR,
I think this statement is true, pretty much thru-out Central and South America. Most of the non-pros, with regular jobs have to fuck the boss just to keep the job or get a little special treatment. My X in Cali got a job in a restaurant to try to make a few extra bucks but had to quit after a week or so because of the pressure from everybody from the owner, to the chef, to the maitre d', to the bus boy, to fuck them for better hours, the better tables ect. Most women in Latin America view their body's and sex as an asset and they use it as such. I love Latin America.

Okay, first time post on this and it's not a report... yet! I am going to go check out Colombia for a few days and am trying to decided between Cartagena and Medellin.
I have read great things on both. I am not a newbie, just a newbie to posting or writing here at CH. I hope to change that in 30 days.
I would like to access the largest contingency of top shelf talent, both mongering and non, and lastly my spanish sucks. (2 out of 10)
Thoughts?
By Hunterman on Tuesday, November 02, 2010 - 10:55 pm: Edit |
My Spanish is between sucks and chokes. But I had no problem with my few words, and a little help from my friends. If you stay at the Mansion (which I did not, but my friends recommend it, and I will stay there next time), you will have "friends" to help you out.
I found Medellin to be easily accessible. But you might want to hear from someone who has been to Cartagena as well as Medellin. I still remember the superb shrimp I had at a restaurant in Cartagena, but that was in 1973, on a "business" trip.

Lots of problems in Colombia right now with flooding. Cartagena and Bogotá are having real problems, not sure about Medellin. best to check out the weather if you are planning a trip in the near future. The rainy season should continue for another month or so.
By Joseph666 on Wednesday, November 03, 2010 - 07:15 pm: Edit |
You'd think though due to Mde's elevation that wouldn't be a problem right? Idk never been, just curious..

Bogotá is at 6000ft, how can it be flooding?
By Latinalover on Thursday, November 04, 2010 - 12:04 pm: Edit |
My novia lives in Bogotá she has been without power 3 or 4 days a week lately because of the rain. I watch Colombia TV station RCN, every morning and they show these poor people trudging thru waist deep water in Bogotá, Barranquilla and now Cartagena.
I'm not saying its the whole city but floods anywhere in the city can effect the whole city. You ride from the airport to your hotel can be affected ect. I once missed my plane in Rio because it rained for 3 days and the mountian slide down and covered the tunnel up. So all the cars had to go thru el centro and Lagoa and it was a 2 and a half hour trip to to the airport.
It just makes common sense to know what the current climate situation is like if you are planning a trip.

Latinlover-
Wow, that water is rediculous high, Im glad you posted this, I would have never thought the flooding would be that big of a problem in those areas.
Below is a pic when I was in Trinidad,Cuba in September durring a hurricane there and the water wasn't even near that high..
Almost comical in comparison

Approaching 50, I am no stranger with women and have very good control of my nut with the ladies I date here in the USA - however they're usually 35-40 years of age! (aka 'Age Appropriate')
I'm going to Medellin this weekend, and after reading Hunterman's recent report where he had trouble with Premature Ejac, I'm concerned that I won't last 2 minutes with an 18-20 year old??!
Any suggestions on what an older man can do to make it last with a young chica bonita?

Gents,
I would NOT concur with this statement in regards to the Mongering scene. To say or insinuate this is wishful thinking at best.
Medellin is not a land/city of whores at just about every venue readily available for mongers.
I do wish it was, Lol!
