Note from last night: The rack rate at the Tropical Manaus Hotel was 649R per night for a stnd; 699 for a superior, and up into the stratosphere for suites. Back home I had priced four night in a superior for $ 986 USD (all in),
Up at 6:15; but laid around reading 'till 8:45.
Went down for some breakfast; then for a walk to "Teatro Amazonas". Then found a street bazaar where I bought that oil paainting for 80R.
Most of the stores were closed today (Sunday) including the internet cafes.
Another major T-storm rolled thru but I was prepared. Bought a few beers (4 for 4.54R) and watched the storm.
When it cleared went out again for another stroll down to the port.
Called a few numbers. Connected with Monica Kim for later.
Second venture (using the D-60).
Got ready for the outcall.

Nice street shots. I love seeing that Portuguese black and white wave patterned pavement.
