My 5 year visa was expiring so it was clearly time to slip back in another shot.
Last Feb. (2010) I cashed in 75K airmiles for a Business Class return ticket to Sao Paulo. Took my time finishing up details especially accomodations.
And low-and-behold, it was finally time to pack.
There is nothing like relaxing with a few Caesars before the flight. Much more so when the flight is delayed (waiting for passengers from abroad).
Went down to the Duty-Free and scored a bottle of Glenlivet to use for toasting my arrival. Price $ 45.95.
Take-off was at 12:50 am (i.e. 2hr. 10 min. late)
Finally on the 777 it was time for some champagne. This was a fine choice to await the arrival of my "Grilled AAA Beef Tenderloin, accompanied by potato and celery root mash, tomatoes, green beans and carrots".
Landed in SP on a cloudy, hot morning just before noon.
The taxi into town, a small fortune, try 130.35 R.
The lady who owned the apartment was waiting. What a bombe! I could do this one, as she exuded pure class and was recently divorced. Note: It was beween this one and another. We e-mailed back-and-forth for a few weeks especially when some other dude booked her downtown unit and then had his visa revoked.
I asked for a discount, and got one. Paid 320 R per night for this 3 bedroom, 4-bath, 1,700 sq. ft. unit in Pinherios, close to the university.
Immediately went out to p/u some water, jus and make a pull on my Visa card for some cash.
Called a few GDP's while sipping on that fine single malt scotch.
One changed her hair colour and wasn't happy with it. Another lived too far away. A bombe named Grazielle C. does not do houses. However, did connect with a few, and using my "best" Portuguese; a bombe on my short list was good for Tuesday - so we made a date.
Took a nap and was roaring to go by 9:30 pm.
Destination? "Angelika Grill" As tasty and inexpensive (63.14 R) as I recalled (4 years ago). A total pig-out!
On leaving, it was a total torential downpour outside. I mean, the sky was white, and the streets were flooding. My taxi pulled right up on to the sidewalk!
From there, to where else boys? The new "Cafe Photo". Cover 150R. Babes? Lots! Prices? More than before, that was for sure. Some started at 700 like this Michelle who was on my short list (her tits & tatoos confirmed it). Others 600. Sure, some of these were stunners, but it was mostly 8"s this night.
One named Erica, was a 29 y.o. female "safada" I love her face and hair and the fact she was at least 5'-10". But the "cunt" was just there to "fuck" with me, and another couple of "hombres" at a table near the band. Every time I thought we were closing the deal; she would excuse herself and vanish. Glad to see you're back on the circuit Dr J. The info and quality of your TR's are among the best. I can appreciate close to $200.00 a night for upscale accommodations however $300.00 for ST seems awfully pricey. Must have been some kick ass malt scotch!

Is that 500R the norm for Sao Paulo, or was this on the Dr. J executive plan?

If so, that's right on par with the states. Though I'm sure the service in Brazil is much better...

The "asking price" in the clubs, is high. But the girls commonly get it. I saw more than a few waltzing out with hombres who started even higher (600, even 700).
Internet girls on the other-hand typically run around 300 plus transport. Less if you can speak Portuguese better than I.

Sao Paulo has always been a little on the expensive side....that is why I have confined my mongering to Rio (and Fortaleza), even so I go quite frequently there. Also, with the few Paulista's I picked up in Help and Balcony Bar I was never too impressed with their performance back in the sack....

Even in Rio, Paulista's will typically ask for more money then the Carioca's (Girls from Rio)

Although I rarely frequent Cafe Photo, from reading other boards it seems the conventional wisdom is the Cafe Photo girls sometimes get R$500, but often get less than this with some negotiation.

I remember once accompanying a board member (but not so frequent poster) to Cafe Photo and the girl he wanted (who IMHO was no hottie) asked for something like R$700 (I can't remember though whether it was overnight). It was clear she would go lower, and I began to negotiate with her on his behalf (no skewed inaccurate comments CFK!) and he asked me to stop because his theory (wrong as it was) was that she wouldn't "like him" as much if he paid less. I suspect this attitude among foreigners is not an isolated one and hence the prices start rather high, at least for the foreigners.

Anyway, I'm sure the money went to good use ending up up her nose (as is the case with many of the Cafe Photo girls).

SP can be fun, but expensive compared to Rio. My biggest complaint is how big the city is, nothing is close and you get bent over by the taxi ride from the airport to the city.

Nice report, but I prefer Macallan's, especially if you can find the 1930 recreations; they never sold in the US, I bought it in Canada several years back and nothing compares including 30 yo single malt. If anyone can find a bottle let me know, I have a bounty on it.

I like your style, but have to agree with Jonesie that those prices are actually painful to read..I was looking at our local escort site www.eros.com here in Seattle(the most depressing place 2nd to North Korea) last weekend and was looking at about $250 an hour for some pretty decent talent...but then again I've read all of your reports and I thoroughly enjoy all of them.. Bottom line though, that girl in the white is Crackin! I think you've stepped up your game here in comparison to your past selections..
