The apartment maanger arrived right-on-time to give the place a quick check. Zero issues.
He also helped me load my bags into the cab.
The price to get to GIG, was half, of what I paid before, try 40R.
Flight left early, but we lost time circling SP due to no landing slots.
I had concerns about making my connection home; from the time I booked it! 60 minutes was TOO CLOSE!
It was a poetic prophesy.
Even with the 2nd boarding pass, and luggage checked-thru, they made me go thru immigration (again), and the check-in counter was closed. It would not have mattered. The line to go thru security was a mile long.
So, went to the office, and met four other passengers who also missed that same flight home.
We got a sheet with details to forward to "TAM" and went down to their counter. After some negotiations they relented that it was their fault. So we all got transfer, hotel and meal vouchers, as they fucked-off to retrieve our luggage.
Boarded the bus, got to the hotel, checked-in and then we all (but one) went down to "Rick's Cafe" for a bite to eat and a few cocktails. Why, but one? The 5th in our party was a Brazilian doll. I mean doll!!! All of 17. Because she was under-age; the airline had to provide a female champerone to stay with her the entire stay (read: 18 hours). That is also why I have included NO pix of the group, attached.
At least these people were entertaining. We had a few, and went to sleep.
The next day we met for breakfast, went to the pool for some final rays, lunch, a snooze, and boarded the shuttle bus at 6:30 pm for the airport.
This time no issues; security, Customs or other.
I picked up some duty-free, we had another bite, and a last caiparinha, and boarded the flight home.
Business was half MT.
I was able to convince the purser to let my 4 new friends at least sleep, in the front.
For that, they were all grateful.
Bought more duty-free on the plane, "Versace" 2 X 30 ml. for $ 57.
Watched "The American" but found it somewhat boring. Slept instead after an OK meal of chicken breasts and veggies.
Landed at 5:30 a.m. local, with an outdoor temperature of minus 15 w/o the wind chill.
Fuck this climate!
Summary:
1) The primary objective was clearly to return rested and rejuvenated. This was accomplished.
2) I had also wanted to write in my journal that this was not going to be my last trip to Brasil. That was also duly noted.
3) The flight above and on the Amazon happened. Not exactly as planned; but it was a success.
4) The amount of ass-fucking was not overly high; but satisfactory.
5) No muggings, rip-offs, or scams, were encountered.
I thank you for your private messages and hope that you have enjoyed reading my TR.
Next Destination: Back to the Ukraine this Summer, with a little side action in Istanbul. Looking forward to it!

Dr. J, I am considering Istanbul this summer also. Have you been there before? Is the mongering scene plentiful?
By Jaggerbowski on Saturday, February 26, 2011 - 09:47 am: Edit |
Mr. Bluelight,
No, this will be my first time anywhere in Turkey.
Are you kiding me? Hot locals, but even more smokin' hot Ruskies.
Just don't rent an apartment like I originally planned. They will not visit.
Dr. J.

Dr. J
I always look forward to your reports. You are a true connoisseur of fine food, drink, and women. You're like the Anthony Bourdain of mongering. I can only hope to scratch the surface of what you've done.

Thanks for your thoroughly detailed and photo-documented report, Dr. J. If CH was still giving awards, it would win one.
It's been less than entertaining following all the sniping at your choices, as tastes vary. I'm sure you don't give a rat's ass what even venerable members of this community think of your women, as long as you're happy wit them. There were some pretty sexy MILFs along the way anyway, and some of us rate performance above looks. And big tits can divert one's attention from the face....
Congratulations on a successful trip, and thanks again for sharing it with us.

Must be his taste in women but it's sad to see a guy throw money around like a pimp with a week to live on this motley bunch of blisters. Let's just hope none of your "dolls" grandchildren are CH members.
