Ate at a local spot, not too far away named "Cinaralti Cafe".
Had a Adnan Kebob (spicy) with a lg. pita bread and rice, and a cucumber/tomato/onion & lettuce salad with balsamic dressing. With a sparkling water it was tasty as hell; with a bite to boot! Cost with tip, 15 TL or 10 bucks.
My 1st taxi cost 8 TL to get me to one of their higher-end clubs called "Istanbul 360". It is on the roof deck of a hi-rise with a million $$$ view.
I had 1 Corona, then 1 Chivas there. It was a v. spectacular place and I immediately considered having dinner there (some other night). Lookers all around, but many with dates. Paid 35 TL for those 2 beverages.
From there went to the "Entertainment District" all under this bridge (fireworks show tonight).
"Reina" - opens at midnight
"Nomads" - the fucker wanted a 250 TL cover charge (includes 1 drink)
"Sortie" - no reservation, no entry
All were ultra hi-end; but within walking distance of one another. The whole area was packed with smaller clubs, restos, booze cans, shops, etc. All-in-all, a happening place!
Got the name and no. of the 2nd taxi dude for a future private tour.
Got back to the hotel at 12:45, and called room service for some ice. R&R time!
