I showed up to Medellin at around 2pm on Avianca flight 43 from NYC (as far as I know the only direct flight from NYC to Medellin). For this trip, I rented an apartment from Poblado Rentals:

The apartment was conveniently located right across the street from San Fernando Plaza on Avenida Poblado. Upon check in, the rental company liaison informed us that this apartment had a history of problems with noise complaints, including one epic complaint about a party involving 3 gringos and 14 chicks. I assured him that we’d keep less than 10 girls there at all times.

Although their price/service was great, the apartment had a few fundamental flaws: the neighbors did not tolerate noise after hours. Our first night there the three of us were sitting in the kitchen talking, and we got a phone call from the security desk to lower our voices.
