Well after talking to Jonesie for a couple of years, he finally dragged me kicking and screaming to Cuba;) After hearing all the hassles and difficulties he has had over the years, I was really expecting the worse, but I was pleasantly surprised. The women were far more beautiful than I expected, and are very good at being your best friend until you get them to the room. Suddenly it's money first, and the negotiations open up. Fortunately, I had been well prepared by Medellin Bob and Jonesie, and I simply stood my ground and everything worked out. I'm more used to the Mansion where these questions rarely come up.
I flew from LAX to Costa Rica to meet up with Jonesie and stayed at the Sportsmen's Lodge. He gracefully picked up some vitamin C and a bunch of Euros, and proceeded to give me a quick tour of the Del Rey where I got to watch him promptly lose on the craps tables. After having worked in a Casino in Lake Tahoe, I have no interest in any gambling at all. I just find it boring. I had been to CR a few years ago, and it didn't seem changed to me at all. We had an early flight the next day to Havana so we called it an early night.
Arriving in Havana was an experience. I've traveled all over the world, but nothing was like that. We headed to the immigration lines going around some guy in jeans, when he suddenly got pissed at us, and asked us why we were ignoring him. We just didn't realize he was in authority because he was in civilian clothing with a small plastic badge. He took it as a personal affront, and it cost us a good hour of hassles especially when they noticed the printer that I always bring to make prints for the girls I take pictures of. I really think they thought I was going to use it to make propaganda leaflets against the wonderful socialist government. They searched Jonesie's bags but not mine. It's a good thing. With all my expensive Digital photo equipment, I might have been in for some tough questions. Once we got out of immigration not one cop bothered us ever again.
I won't repeat the itinerary of nightclubs and girls we picked up since Jonesie just reported it on his report. I'm glad I was able to help him with some of his photos;) I really was impressed with the stunners available at the various places we went, but unfortunately I didn't score with any great ones. I kept getting corralled by lesser talent but very aggressive Cubanas that got my engine running so hot I just couldn't get the motivation to look elsewhere. I'll have to go back sometime and focus on trophy girls so I can get the great pics I usually do. We were only there for 4 nights and I didn't really have time to get my bearings. In fact the best looking girl of the trip was a girl Jonesie set me up with on my last night in CR after leaving Havana. I'm sure you'll enjoy her photos as well as the homely Cubanas I got stuck with;) Ja Ja Ja
Big thanks to Jonesie and Medellin Bob too for showing me a great time in a new and sometimes challenging locale.

Nice pics. I like the old cars and the fact that you can see newer cars in the background. Gringo TV never shows that.
