There were some excellent restaurants within a few blocks of our apartment. I pretty much ate steak every day, $10 or less bought ample servings of tender steak. I never did figure out the cuts, which are apparently different from American butchery.
La Terraza was a block away, and offered a grill (Brochetas), an Italian restaurant (Picco-lo), a take-out sushi place, and two Mexican restaurants.
My favorite was Brochetas. We ate there at least a half dozen times.
They had an excellent Paisa Plate (apparently a typical Medellin dish slightly different from one restaurant to the next, but always loaded with food, including rice and beans); Solomito with a mushroom sauce was excellent; the baby beef was always outstanding.
I had dinner with Bedouin a couple of times. He’s quite knowledgeable about Medellin, and gave me a lot of good information. First I met him at Rancheritos in Las Palmas, ap-parently a popular family-oriented (i.e., don’t bring your whores there) restaurant, with an excellent grilled chicken he recommended. The next night we went to Il Forno, in a shopping mall in Poblado called (or on) Transversal Inferior. Another family-oriented restaurant.
Bedouin had rented a fantastic Poblado penthouse. The views from his place were spec-tacular.

Hi my friend,
Great to see your pictures and happy to know you had a good time. When you coming back? There are a couple of girls at face dos who keep asking about you.

The girls at Face Dos would be asking about my friend, who was easily ripped off. Not likely any are asking about me Nor I about them...
Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip overall, despite the coldness of the balloon-breasted Leslie at Face Dos. Most of the others were hot enough to make up for it. Anyway, I expect hits and misses, with failure to interview leading to misses.
I appreciated your hospitality, thanks.
