Dec 14 went out to Soi 19 in Jontiem to look at my friends condo as they had one on the 7th floor that they also rented out for that owner, it would have been a good deal, however their place is on the Jontiem/Stataship line, and that would be too far to make the trips to Pattaya for my nightly entertainment, however if I were to live in Thailand this would be a good location as they have a direct beach view, a nice breeze and since they were on the 20th floor no issue with flying pests, however you can tell the changing demographics of foreign people living in Thailand right now the signs in German are getting old and are getting replaced by those in Russian, we had a GREAT little lunch at a outdoor restaurant that had soft shelled crab, prawns, lobster, and oysters. You can live like a king, but would have to accept that this is Thailand and some things you would expect in America just will not be happening, my friends live most of the year in California and spend 4 at a time in Thailand, since they have property in Bangkok, Chang Mia, and Pattaya. After lunch their daughter picked me up and gave me a ride back to my hotel on her way to work. I can't express this enough guys, try to make friends in you local Thai communities, they really are great people.

Latter in the afternoon, one of my other friends from home gave me a call and let me know he was in town, and did I want to get together for the night?
