Figured since there is no information here I would give a bit of an update for anyone possibly visiting Abu Dhabi. As one might expect there is not a huge scene in the UAE capital, but a few things to be found. There are about three main places to go (perhaps 4 I never got there, though). All located in the Tourist Club Area

Ally Pally Corner in the Al Ain which is located right behind the Le Royal Meridian. Mostly, if not all, Chinese. Nothing special at all, seemed most in their 30s and at best mid-late 20s. Can get something here for less than AED 500, and is probably the cheapest option. They do charge AED35 week nights and AED 50 Thursday to enter. I would not waste my time here other than out of curiosity.

49s in the Dana Hotel. This is pretty much the most famous of places, and will get crowded especially on a Thursday night (Fri, Sat weekends in Muslim countries). It is also really smokey at times which as a spoiled guy moving from a non-smoking indoors State, this gets to me. Kind of a mix of Chinese, African and of all places Kyrgyzstan. They are priced in ascending order on average in that order. The top Kyrgyzstan girls will want AED 1000 for all night, seems they won't go below 800, at least not on a weekend. There does seem to be some travel debt payoff thing with these girls. I found one that was great, and spent a bunch of nights with her. She would tell me how many days left on her debt she had and as soon as she met the last day she dropped her price from 1000 to 600, so I do think there was some legitimacy to thee story. It worked out OK, because she would come over right when I got home from work and stay the night so I could get 3 or more shots including a wake up before I sent her off. I am 45 and so that is my limit, she would have gone as many times as I wanted it seemed. She was the only winner I got out of there of 3 tries. If you go for the big bottoms and like dark girls some of the African will hit you right, I am into the smaller ones so never went that route. The Chinese here are also up there in years and I saw nothing I would spend money on. The charge an AED 85 cover which includes two drinks for the ability to see what you might find.

The top of the three would be Utopia, which also charges AED 150 to get in (includes 2 drinks), unless you are a guest of Le' Royal Meridian where it is located (4th floor). This places lets the girls in free, if they meet a certain qualification, so it keeps the real low end out. This is where you can find some hot girls. The only really hot Asian girls I saw were here. There are also many Russians and other Eastern Europe I believe. On a Thursday, the top will want AED 1500 and unless you are willing to wait till after 2:30 they probably won't budge on that. I would imagine week nights are cheaper, but the place does not get going until after midnight, so I never checked it out on a school night.

There is supposedly a place in Le' Meridian, but I never got there. Also most other bars will have a few girls here and there looking to find a lonely business man. All bars are either in, or in some way attached to a hotel (I am told there is one private club - The British Club or some such that is not, but I really had no interest in seeking it out).

There is also Blitz, which is nice because they do not charge a cover. There seemed to be quite a few girls out strolling and some cute ones. Also a lot of folks just out to party. I forget the hotel, Novetel near Hamden Plaza I believe. The place was packed and too smokey for me to deal, so I left pretty quick.

The other bar that seemed to attract the party crowd was PJ O' Rourke behind Le Royal Meridian. There will be a few girls looking there, but it is more the hot spot for the younger crowd just out to party. Kind of fun place to hang out (and drink if you like to) until you wait for Utopia to get going. No cover here, so it won't set you back more than drinks.

Most of my first month in the UAE was during Ramadan, so there was no chance to start looking around until after that. All night clubs are closed and any places open do not play music so no DJs or bands. Makes for some (literally) quiet evenings.

I just moved up to Dubai, so hopefully will have some information about what it is like here soon. I have seen some gorgeous girls (Eastern European looking) just out walking around, I just need to find where they are at night.
