I forgot to mention that at Pussy Collection I asked the girl I was with whether the girls there did long-time. She said yes and it was 3,000 baht, which is not a bad price IMHO. I don't recall (and probably didn't notice) whether this price was on the "menu" that one gets in the bar (which says that short-time is 2,000 baht), nor am I certain whether all the girls are available long-time for 3,000, or whether this varies from girl to girl. But apart from some of the downsides of the bar I identified in the main report, I like that the girl I had was willing to go long-time for 3,000 (before any negotiations). Whether this price was negotiable I don't know; if I went back and wanted long-time, I doubt I would bother to try to negotiate down from 3,000 (for me not worth the bother although I would bother if the opening price was 3,500 or 4,000; a price quote above that would be an immediate no-go, no negotiations needed).

I would never, ever, pre-pay for a gogo girl. If that is the MO at Patpong these days, then yet another reason not to go there.

i should add that the glamour bar girl (and then roomate club) no longer calls me. i've been in bkk a month and on my way back to US next week. the day i arrived in bkk (early jan), she was the first girl who called my phone to see if i was back in town. so she directs me to roommate club, her new place. never called again. so my guess is she is quite happy with her new clients. and i definitely don't underpay or 'use them up' in the room. i'm here fairly often and don't really need a full two hour session for ST. the folks that frequent roommate club must pay alot of money. or perhaps she got taken off the market already. i could call her but getting a straight story from her is unlikely.

As noted Pussy Collection requires that you prepay the girl's fee, or at least it seems they require it (whether you could avoid prepaying if you insisted I don't know). Fortunately, despite this I had great sessions with the girl I selected but I agree prepayment could be a disaster waiting to happen with some other girl there.

Buick, I can't remember about Glamour Bar. Did you have to prepay for your girl? (OTOH, given she doesn't work there anymore, and the rest of the selection was awful, it might not matter; then again at least it might give some indication of whether the prepay things is just a Pussy Collection policy, or one followed more generally by most or all the bars in Patpong).

has anyone else been to patpong in the last year or two ? i realize it is not at the top of anyone's list.......

Not for years. Can't stand trying to negotiate through that night flea market, and all the tourist traffic.
