First I must thank all my sick, twisted, perverted amigos who have written reports about CTG in the past. The info in them is accurate and very helpful. cudos especially to Schmit "Hunting in CTG". Its still 100% acurate today, and it was fun to fuck w/ Tony #1, more on that later.
We arrived on Thurs 2pm at Juans apt Torres del Lago. As with many previous posts I concur Juan is the man. If your coming here, use him. He was also able to provide us w a maid @ 20K per day to change the cum stained sheets, wash the sand and long hair (chicas) from the floors and bathroom.(yes, we picked up the rubbers!)In hindsight a maid was a great idea. Especially to clean the never ending stack of cocktail glasses... picked up Grey Goose and Patron at the duty free, had the maid buy us fruits and she blended them for mixer. The passion fruit is awesome w vodka! Then again what isnt.
Couple things I didnt see in other posts and have since learned. 1.Phones: In Columbia you have a phone then buy a sim card (5K) then minutes for the card. 20K will get you by for a weeks worth of chicas #'s. Check with your US wireless provider. I had to get my Verizon sim card "unlocked" If I hadn't a new sim would not have worked. Also, I had to switch from Global to GSM and turn off Data service on my smart phone to prevent mucho dinero charges. 2. Currency exchange: Best way to exchange is the ATM. You can get 1.2M pesos a day this way. I used the Hilton at the end of the street. Nice walk every am and its a secure location guaranteed. I also wrote down incremental exchange rates on a piece of paper. I keep it in my wallet and is an easy quick reference whenever Im reachin for pesos. Works expecially well when shitfaced and wanting to pay the tab and get chica's in the taxi pronto!
Ok, we need to head to the beach for our afternoon chica fix. The phrase "shooting fish in a barrel" comes to mind... Oh and Knowing spanish is like theres no water in the barrel. I dont speak more that a few words but me amigo speaks Italiano so we are stylin.
