Man I am in so much hot water you wouldn't believe. So let me share this as a warning to others.
I went with a whole bunch of people down to Cartagena to plan for a muckety mucks later trip. We worked really hard and there was no time for play until late one night me and ten other guys get off after midnight and hit the town looking for some P4P chicas. Well after everybody picking his girl and going to couple of discos and shit it was around 3 am when we got back to the Hotel Caribe. This place is supposed to be guest friendly, but don't you believe it. The girl checks in and leaves her ID which is a great idea except for a few problems.
Most guys go for ST, but I have the next day off and I insist on LT besides which you really get your moneys worth by buying wholesale.
By Jjgettis on Sunday, April 15, 2012 - 02:01 pm: Edit
So after showering and all we finally get going at it around 5 in the morning. I fall asleep intending to wake her up around 8 and going for Round Dos if you know what I mean.
And then the merde hits the fan. It seems that the hotel has a rule that the girl has to leave at 7 am. Both this gal and the hotel know this but nobody bothers to inform the Gringo.
Well fine. They knock on the door and explain the situation and I am cool but then the bitch wants her LT money. FOR LIKE 2 HOURS AND ONE ROUND!
By Jjgettis on Sunday, April 15, 2012 - 02:08 pm: Edit
Well she proceeds to go ape shit scream and thowing furniture around and the hotel security people barge in and demand I pay her which of course I am not going to do. I paid her for ST, but she wants an extra wad of Pesos which amounts to $47 US for nothing. I stood my ground and then the dickheads at the hotel called the police.
The hotel rats out all of my workmates and all 11 of us are in big trouble. These so called friends of mine think I am at fault causse I refused to be gyped. What are you going to do.
I have some really hot photos but I can't post them on account of my employer seized my camera. So what ever you do skip this hotel and probably if you get a girl in the late hours maybe you should agree up front to ST.
I think it may be awhile before I can post again since I am not counting on a lot of funds being available in my immediate future. On the other hand, it looks like I can join the retired monger community. After my divorce is through.

So the question is now, how are us more discreet Hombres gonna get to cum to Colombia now?

Hmmm, if I was on a trip that is in any way related to work, or tied to family members, or whatever, I would be paying that bitch her money and just let it go and avoid a scene.....a small price to pay for the alternative shit fall.... Now, if neither applies I would tell her to fuck off.... got to weigh the cost and consequences....If it it will fuck with my work and potentially cause a divorce, my tolerance to grind my teeth and just take it up the ass (money wise, only .. ok :-) increase proportionally.

LM,
apparently while the Secret Service was being secretly serviced, one asshole decided not to pay his girl a whopping $47 USD... Had he used even half the judgement you mentioned the outcome would certainly have been better. Now, jobs are on the line, married agents are toast, and the taxpayers will end of 'paying' for yet another bureaucratic investigation with foreseeable results.
What a cheap MF!!
By Megabite76 on Monday, April 16, 2012 - 09:32 pm: Edit
I agree with Lovingmarvin. Should have weigh the consequences. Especially with such a high profile meeting in Carta right now. I guess a warning for others to really think before you do something stupid.
By Jjgettis on Monday, April 16, 2012 - 09:44 pm: Edit
Hey guys. before you call me a cheap mf, bear in mind that my employer only pays $60 per diem in Columbia. if i pay ther full $77 for LT when I didnt receive LT then I am a day and a half into my per diem almost. i gotta explain to the missus where the extra dough went. bear in mind i gotta eat too.
You guys sound like my asshole friends who would rather i over paid some puta rather than stand up for my rights. if you knew about the 7 am rule then tell me. otherwise dont come bitching to me when it works out that one lone girl gets us all in trouble. didnt i cover for dave when he shot that Nigerian by accident. Dude is probably still doing prison time.

By Lovingmarvin on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 - 09:09 am: Edit
I am far from being one to over pay a puta, but again I always weigh the outcome of sticking to my principles. I have gotten in fights with some, even had the police come to a hotel (and did not have to pay, by the way), but again I would certainly not make a scene while on a work trip with co-workers. That is an entirely different story and a matter of common sense. And, yes, I speak from experience on this as well (a work conference). I just let the bitch go. Much cheaper outcome for not sticking to my principles.
You do have balls....give you that!! Just not sure I have half a set like yours.....

Here is another article regarding the not so secret service - It looks like the per diem is not such an issue after all.
I would think everyone on this board, especially me, is 100% behind guys that monger, but you would think a little more discreetly...
I think those married guys on this board traveling solo to Cartagena better keep their traveling locations to themselves from now on :-) It just joined the mongering reputation rank of Bangkok...... not good!
*******
CARTAGENA, Colombia - ABC News has learned exclusively that the Secret Service officials accused of misconduct in Colombia revealed their identities by boasting at a Cartagena brothel that they worked for President Obama.
Partying at the "Pley Club" Wednesday night, eleven members of the president's advance team allegedly bragged "we work for Obama" and "we're here to protect him."The officials spent the night throwing back expensive whiskey and enlisting the services of the club's prostitutes, according to a bouncer at the club and a police source.
Sources tell ABC News several of the men agreed to pay for, and received, services from the "highest category" prostitutes available at the club, who charge upwards of $200.
The men paid for the sexual services in advance but when it came time to settle the bill, there was a dispute over the charges.
The group became belligerent and the police were called. The argument between the officials and the bouncers from the club escalated and ultimately spilled onto the street, according to several eye witness accounts.
The police have since been directed by U.S. authorities not to comment on that night or the scandal surrounding the Secret Service, according to a senior police official in Cartagena.
Prostitution is legal in Colombia and the women who work at the Pley Club live on the premises.
The club, located on a dusty street in the industrial Bosque neighborhood, just blocks from the port, has a rough exterior but boasts plush "pley rooms" inside.
The Pley Club is a well-known brothel in this historic city. Some taxi drivers in the resort-town are paid a commission for recommending the club and its prostitutes to tourists.
The officials were in Cartagena on assignment ahead of the president's visit for the Summit of the Americas last weekend.
The controversy surrounding the officials' misconduct, however, overshadowed the summit last week and local residents are questioning why the city put so many resources into the international event only to be left with a tarnished reputation.
"Cartagena didn't benefit one cent from President Obama's visit. All people remember are that the Secret Service agents slept with our prostitutes," said a man who works in the neighborhood.

How about going to a venue with ST onsite so that nobody has a record at the hotel of having guests and more importantly not mixing the business of the safety of the "boss" with pleasure. I find it amusing that government cowboys who protect the president would be so stupid to check themselves into "Hotel Caribe" and bring back "prostitutes" registered to their room where, oh by the way they have the Boss' hard copy agenda lying around. Additionally, to think that they are checked into a "hotel" where they have a copy of the President's itinerary laying around is crazy.
If you are somewhere you are not supposed to be doing something you are not supposed to do with someone you are not supposed to be with...
We have idiots who are supposed to be operating in a clandestine manner who can't even session with a Columbian puta and not get got...wow.

When I first head of this scandeal iit immediately hit me as a great trip report so I wrote based upon the news accounts.
Thanks for playing along, but I wasn't there.
I have long thought that the best weapon the girls have is the ability to call attention to the mongers. Unless you are in a hooker hotel, I would almost always give in to a girl that threatened to get loud.
By Lovingmarvin on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 - 03:40 pm: Edit
Good stuff and fun posting.....but it is mind bending that these guys got busted the way they did either way...
Not sure if I go as far as always giving in to a girl that threatened to get loud, it really depends on the circumstances and location of her visit. If the end result of her making a scandal is meaningless in the context of my life, I will stand my ground (up to a point, of course).
In Brazil I have had this happen a few times - each time I stood my ground and won, even when the police was called that one time. But then again I had Portuguese language skills and could communicate with the police - joking along the way, plus was extremely confident in my stance - I just frankly told the police what we had agreed upon and failed to deliver on. They ended up taking neutral grounds and the situation was over. My adrenaline kicked up quite a notch that night :-) But I knew the worst consequence of my little sparing match with the puta could have been that I might have to pay her in the end....
Bound to happen to almost anyone eventually...

Someone put this( Is not my story)in other board
It appears that the Secret Service agents were taking the term 'Walmart monger' to the extreme. According to NBC News, two agents tag teamed the prostitute but instead of paying her per penis fee of approximately $50 each they insisted on splitting the fee between them. This leads to some suspicion that may have been Club Hombre members. LOL.

$200 for a Colombian prostitute...they could have literally walked across the street and talked to "Tony" LOL.
As much as people knock the guy, he hooked me up with a stunning 18 year old from Medellin who was working at the Isis stripclub. It cost me 200K pesos but absolutely trouble-free. The girl showed up 15 minutes after calling her and she was first-class, natural beauty.
As for standing your ground. I would agree with that and like LM, I have had confrontations in Rio where the police got involved. In both cases, I went to the police station and after some sensible conversation walked out of the place without paying a penny to these putas.
The part I don't understand -- what is more high profile than the P.O.T.U.S. and possible risk anything going wrong(??). Cartagena is not exactly a super far exotic destination that one may never find themselves in again. A flight is cheap and easy out of Miami (2 1/2 hours). You could easily make that into a weekend trip if living in the Eastern US.
I am sure Howard Stern would like to get them on his show though so they could probably make some money. LOL.

i think the agents thought they could stand their ground with the police and be given professional courtesy. When the embassy was ctontacted it blew up on them. Or the girl was not cowed and went extra ape shit.
Just a theory.
But clearly the agents forgot that since they were mongering while on a business trip they needed to follow extra precautions. Under these circumstances and most of my overseas fun is in conjunction with work, I would have sought out an incall or gone to a hooker hotel.

The latest turn where she claimed she was due 850 as an elite escort adds new color. Still it is the agents fault for bringing a pick up back to his business hotel. Something cried money to her and she went for it. If she was a take out from a place then there would be a madam to complain to.
There may be $800+ escorts in Columbia, but they would be much hotter and you would order them in such a way that you knew clearly the price.

Haven't had a chance to check this board all week. Was wondering what kind of comments guys here were posting regarding the SS scandal in CTG.
Anyone saw the pics on the girl in question, Dania? Anyone here ever sessioned with her? She looks pretty hot.
I have been to the Pleyclub in CTG, it can be expensive if your brain cells aren't firing that night.
What surprises me is they didn't seem concerned that no one would pick up on all those girls coming in late at night and leaving early in the morning from their block of rooms. Even if there was never an argument over money, a group that big is going to attract attention sooner or later.
There are many economical love motels a short taxi ride away. In Rio or CTG, I almost always take a girl I don't know to a love motel at least once before taking her to my apartment/hotel. The extra cost (and it doesn't have to cost a lot unless you order a lot of food and booze) brings some peace of mind, she has less leverage on you in the love motel.
I'm surprised these agents didn't know about that. Possibly govt. regulations and/or security protocols forbid them to lodge anywhere else?; but once you bring a chica, or even just a civvie foreign national to your room, isn't that enough of a protocol breach for the SS??
Anyway, all the classic newbie mistakes were committed. Drank too much, didn't set price and expectations, didn't offer a reasonable amount of "just go away" money, etc. etc. It's disconcerting and disappointing to see that it's amateur hour with the Secret Service. Some of these guys need to get back to corporate or building security, they are way in over their heads!
By Portege on Sunday, April 22, 2012 - 04:45 am: Edit
I realize how non-sensical this is...i.e. picking up prostitutes during a high-profile business trip and bringing them back to where your co-workers are staying. However, I dont think they should have lost their jobs. I think during a non-election year then this wouldnt be such a big deal and the agents would have received a slap on the wrist at most.
They did this activity on their own time and on their own dime. I think the majority of Americans would agree the Secret Service agents should not lose their jobs.
By Hunterman on Sunday, April 22, 2012 - 10:18 am: Edit
I suspect that the majority of American MEN are jealous of the girls the agents were with. American women, another story....
By Jjgettis on Sunday, April 22, 2012 - 03:44 pm: Edit
It has not been clear to me if the agent knew the 850 going in. I can't believe that was what he quoted, because there is no way a government worker could afford that. I think this was an outrageous price she threw out because she could smell a newbie and likely cause he probably appeared richer than he was.

Portege, I disagree. They all should have lost their TS clearances and thus their jobs that require TS clearances. They are next to the leader of the free world, they have intimate access to his security procedures, protocols, schedules, and know all secret service security vulnerabilities. They are vulnerable to coersion and blackmail. I think this is exactly the wakeup call they needed.

WAY, WAY out of proportion, this whole nonsense. A dozen or so guys, loose in a foreign country, on their DAY OFF, and they are WHAT?! Getting their willys wet? Next thing you'll discover, there's gambling going on in Casablanca and you're SHOCKED, SHOCKED! that such a thing is going on. SAD.
By Portege on Sunday, April 22, 2012 - 08:41 pm: Edit
I wonder if the Secret Service did some type of "Safety Briefing" or a "Security Briefing" prior to them deploying to Colombia specifically stating how they are supposed to act in these situations. When I was in the Army, safety briefings were very common and happened anytime they thought we might get in the slightest bit of trouble. I know highly trained and selected Secret Service agents should have a little common sense about them, but if they were never told exactly what is acceptable and unacceptable then how can I blame them.
I tend to blame the topline management for not specifically defining what was expected of the agents before the trip. The agents should have been told before the trip that there was to be no drinking or prostitution. I guess I expect a leader to be able to foresee such things and then spell out the standards to those below them.

I have no idea Obama went to Cartagena in the first place. Whatever he did there is now forgotten. What a waste of time and taxpayers money. It probably cost millions of dollars for Obama to go there...money which could have been spent on anything else or how about saved or used to pay down the debt.
Now we are left with a bunch of jerkoffs who didnt have enough sense to know when it wasnt a good time to pick up some hoes and millions in the hole none of which is paid for out of Obama's pocket.

I dont believe these agents should be fired unless they were specifically told not to drink and engage in prostitution. However, politics nowadays usually comes with permanent consequences. Quite a few people out there are finding themselves tangled in this political game.
Its a shame the taxpayers spent millions of dollars on this weekend trip and all that came out of it was this.
By Bwana_dik on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 - 11:47 am: Edit
Portege, you have no idea what came out of the bilateral talks between the Obama administration and Colombian and other regional officials. You've only heard about the prostitution issue because the media loves shit like this, but they have no interest in covering trade and foreign policy negotiations
Lovingmarvin is right: you don't need to try to turn every thread into a political thread. Just because you never seem to actually get out and fuck is no reason to spoil all the threads on this board. We're all awaiting a useful TR from you. It's been a while...
By Copabrasil1 on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 - 02:41 pm: Edit
I disagree...those guys opened themselves up for security breaches on many levels and should get canned. Go out and fuck on your night off...no problem. Go out and bring a person who you don't know to a room that is being paid for by the U.S. government where there is sensitive information being stored, that is another issue. However, as I pointed out above, the larger problem in my mind is the fact that agents are staying in an hotel with sensitive information is a breach on its own. If you are in a hotel, where are you going to secure your sensitive files and electronics? The hotel safe? The whole issue is a mess. But bottom line, if you have a security clearance and are on assignment, makes sense not to bring hired help back to the room paid for by the government. All they had to do was fuck onsite and there would have been no problems. I hardly ever bring hired help back to my room to keep my own situation clean and belongings secure...and I don't work for the government.

Thats right, I (along with the average American) have absolutely no idea what came out of this trip except for the prostitution scandal. I have no disagreement with you there. Shouldnt we know what came out of that meeting though? When I go to the White House website, there are a bunch of graphs about jobs saying how we have supposedly recovered fully and some other campaign related stuff. However, there is nothing there which would give me a clue as to why or what was accomplished.
I guess Obama and his agents had a good vacation on our dime. I would be good spirited about the matter if I wasnt paying for it out of my tax dollars. Im a little bit forgiving and will give the agents the benefit of the doubt saying they didnt receive the proper guidance from upper management. A lot of folks drink and some may even hire a prostitute every now and then. They should have foreseen this and instructed them in regards before the trip.

Hi there Guys;
Pennies for my thoughts;
- those secret service agents are just a bunch of arrogants bastards and thought with just flashing their badges it would get them off, WRONG!!!
- The lady provided a service then she is entitled to her money, period; I think the amount she was asking was US$250-300.the fucker just wanted to give her US30!!!
- AGREED BEFORE ANYTHING/DOING ANYTHING OR GOING ANYWHERE!!!, so there would be no misunderstandings, don't need to elaborate more.
- There's a saying; "Don't shit on the plate you eat from"; that idiot (think he's a total moron) should have taken the girl to another hotel and just keep it cool and out of sight of the whole world. Comon sense dictates, rather give her money and not risking loosing your job. well, pretty white boy thought he's untouchable. Personally, don't feel sorry and got what he deserves!!!
By Bigpoppa on Saturday, May 12, 2012 - 04:34 pm: Edit
My thoughts after reading this thread are that most of you have never worked for the government. I happen to have had a friend who joined the secret service and while he was interviewing he learned that the non college grads don't get anywhere close to the President himself as a private will probably never get close to a 4 star general. Even the secret service has flunkies whose presence conveys a message beyond whatever it is they're actually doing.
They're not all the President's personal guards and secret info is given out on a need to know basis. It's probably pure BS that these agents could have had any info on hand that could have brought the President harm. I'd bet heavily that that info resides in the nearest consulate, embassy and the agent's memory after the briefing. Why leave them with something to be targeted for?
I'm sure every head of state has a similar security detail while probably of a smaller size. They're not performing official duties every millisecond of every day. They get stressed out, they get curious about what there is to do once their counterparts relieve them for the next shift, and then once off shift, they party to include banging whores. It's like any other business trip with a male dominated organization.
Morally, they did nothing wrong or even surprising in my book. The shocking part is knowing who he represents and what the fall out would be, how could this guy be so dumb as to not figure out the price beforehand? Another thing about the government, is every agency has lower entry standards than you would think. Sure only the best and brightest get to the top, but there's simply not enough brilliant people in the country who are willing to make extreme public service commitments for under $75K a year to fill every job vacany. The gifted and talented have much more lucrative offers available with less restrictions on their personal lives while the 2.5 GPA crowd heads to Uncle Sam, State Police etc. Many of them have low GPAs because they were partying.
By Portege on Monday, May 14, 2012 - 09:45 pm: Edit
Well, it is common sense not to "shit where you eat". All of these guys should have known better. If they were going to do this kind of thing, they should have been way more discrete and took it off-site to another hotel.

Hence what I was saying....it doesn't take god like credentials to work for the government...we shouldn't be surprised when this happens or a space shuttle explodes or 3 mile island etc.

Pennies for thoughts;
"Most of you have never worked for the Government", or so some menber said it, pretty arrogant statement considering we really DON'T know nothing of menbers, except our "non de Guerre". sometimes is smart to think before opening your mouth or type!!!!!!. Also, knowing somebody who works for the secret service doesn't make the person an "expert"; maybe an expert of "here say this or that" would be the lenght of such expertise.
true that more capable persons can get higher paying jobs but its just relative and for certain ones, money becomes a second thought and is above all, what the person is actually looking for.
You don't have to have a college degree to realize that it was better to take the lady to another hotel and keep the whole deal quiet and low key was the sensible thing to do. I said it before: " don't shit where you eat". it came down to either this secret agent was really stupid and without a single ounce of comon sense or he was just an arrogant bastard, thinking that his badge and occupation made him untouchable. this brings another universal rule of the thumb; "treat everybody the way you would like to be treated". acting like a master race asshole get you nowhere.
Last but not least, ciertain jobs come with some prestige and image to uphold, like or not; today's politically correct world made some behaviors out of bounds and that's the way it is. unfortunately, working for the Feds comes with rules and more rules that for a normal "joe" wouldn't make any sense, well, that's the price is pay for working for Uncle Sam./

Oh brother! A whole lot of angst for a fake trip report. Seems I've spun you up Marco. I have worked for our uncle before. I'm qualified to say that most people do it as a "safety" career, including myself...I wouldn't want to sound arrogant.
Most government agencies have an image in the public's mind that is far apart from the truth. The level of incompetence and inefficiency is staggering and I'd have a hard time believing the secret service is immune just because they dress the part.
Instead of judging these guys maybe we can agree that this was a case of bad luck. Especially since this has gone on before and will again.
It never ceases to amaze me how frail the American ego is. Any other country would have shrugged their shoulders and moved on. I know, I know the US of fucking A is NOT just some other country.....we're infallible! Face it we confuse the mass size of our country for greatness.
If it were so great we could all monger legally at home, but that's unthinkable in the land of the thief, home of the wage slave.
I'm sure Mitt Romney will turn it all around though. ![]()

BP,
while the 2.5 GPA crowd heads to Uncle Sam, State Police etc. Many of them have low GPAs because they were partying.
I'm wondering if they went to Wossamotta U. [The one Bullwinkle attended]

The PleyClub interior: cheap tables and seats, complete with two dancing poles and a bar.

The seats are more uncomfortable than they look.

That does not appear to be possible.
